Father's Day weekend in Oxford N.C. The Front Desk lady, Ms. Tammy was awesome. Excellent customer service. Ms. Tammy recommended a place for me to get good wings, ask me if the wifi was working for me since I was telecommuting from Oxford , good around service. Spoke with a smile each time I saw her.

Satisfying stay in Oxford Satisfying stay. Clean. Staff were very pleasant. Room was as expected. AC worked well. Bed was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is included and was ok. Very white bread. But had good Chobani yogurt and some fruits.

Will never stay at this place again My wife and I are Diamond members of Choice Hotels. Which means we travel a lot. We were in the Oxford area for a wedding and chose Comfort Inn. We had a little dog with us and on checking in we had our dog with us at the front desk. No one said a word to us about our pet. The next morning we went out to breakfast and came back to the room. Our key would not work. I went down to the front desk and I was told that we had to leave because we had a dog in the room. As a mater of fact, the front desk clerk was very rude and the manger came out and he raised his voice and said that we had to leave NOW. I tried to explain to him about our situation with the wedding, and I was the officiate, but he got louder and said to leave. I stay in a lot of Choice hotels and this was by far the rudest and unfriendly. Will never stay here again.

Bad WIFI, moldy food, and bedbugs - OH MY! It all looks nice from the outside and inside. The location was great for where I needed to be, and the price was practical. I booked a room through Expedia with 2 Queen beds, but was checked into a single King upon arrival. Maurice was delightful, looked into it, and was able to change my room within about 10 minutes, discovering the the owner had booked my room too late. The room was sizable, and stocked with a fridge AND microwave. Then why only 1 star dude? 1. The WIFI is trash. I connected, and after 2 minutes was kicked off; this continued all weekend. 2. They offer a "Grab 'N Go" breakfast, which is convenient - if you like mold on your li'l breakfast sammich. The sandwiches were manufactured by Peach Valley (PVB); didn't they close down some time ago?!? Should've taken a picture - but, was too grossed out. 3. They told us no pets, but guess what crawled into bed with me?!? Yep - you guessed it - ALSO found a bedbug, much like several other guests in the past. I should've read the reviews here instead of booking directly though Yelp. Should've taken a picture of the li'l critter, but I was too pissed off. So, yeah...don't do it here, padnuh...
