Good stay Clean and good size room. Hot water too lol ( had pleasure of not having any at different place before) All we wanted after few days hike. Toiletries available. Friendly staff. Air conditioning not great but wasn’t too hot on the day so not a big issue for us.

Worst experience ever Worst stay I have ever experienced. First I called to ask about fireworks as we wanted to get away from them for the 4th and was told there would be no fireworks before booking. There were so many fireworks there was no sleeping. To top it off ac was broken and temps high 80s. Of course they didn't even have fans. I felt lied to in every way. We were there just for 1 night and would never go back.

Issues my family and I had. The doors didn't lock. The rooms smelt like mold. It was the worst stay I have ever had. They first night that I stayed there, the front desk person was playing games and was unfocused on his job. He knew no information on any of the questions that we had.

Catastrophic bed ..... Here we were in September 2023 unfortunately as a guest, I had already booked the room in 2022, then the ratings were actually still in the midfield. The bed we had to sleep in was pretty much the worst we've had in over 30 years of touring the US. Aside from the fact that I felt like I was sleeping on a plastic mattress, the lack of enough interior mattress kept slipping into the middle. But the crowning glory was that the refrigerator vibrated so much that the bed took over that vibration. All the furnishings are very, very old, the bathroom sink certainly as old as the motel. The air conditioning unfortunately does not bring any cooling, even after 3 hours the room temperature was the same as before. On the second day we found out that the unit is only able to pump the air from outside to inside. It is not without reason that the motel in Packwood is now ranked last on Tripadvisor. 150$ per night is 150$ too much....

Overpriced hotel! Packwood lodge overpriced, Beds not comfortable, and poor quality sheets & pillows.We were here for 4 nights & had to beg them to clean room. I would definitely not come back! Front staff were not very helpful of friendly.
