La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Paducah

Mixed review but mostly favorable Good. bad and somewhat weird. The good - very large room w fine amenities. Very quiet isolated property amongst multiple hotels so dog-walking was easy and pleasant. Nice lobby and mostly good breakfast offering. The bad - really lumpy pillows on the beds. Sower had weak water pressure and the WiFi access signal was weak and intermittent. Despite being a Pepsi-branded vending site, there wasn't a single diet Pepsi available in any machine. The weird - Breakfast eggs were heated hard-boiled that had clearly been around awhile as the yolks were browning. Unpleasant and very odd offering. Overall, this La Quinta was better than average, but not by a lot.....but it worked well for us weary pet-owning travelers.

Paducah Hotel was very clean and accommodating. Pet friendly. Rooms are very quiet even though it is next to interstate. Breakfast is very good and offers everything for a complete hot meal. Inside pool is clean and relaxing with a nice patio area outside.

disappointed needs a deep cleaning both inside and outside the hotel had an odor and rugs were dirty. bathtub had black stuff in the corners. outside the windows our view was of a roof that had asphalt or dirt piled up on it. looked like an abandoned building

Excellent accomodations We love staying here. Quick and easy check in and out process. Delicious breakfast. Hotel is very close to shopping and entertainment locations.

VERY VERY DISGUSTING AND DISAPPOINTING Let me start off by saying this hotel was beyond disgusting, I had to keep the room cleaned myself, the hotel is dog friendly, but when had an abundance of dog hair in our room, we asked for housekeeping to come every other day as we were out here for work, and did not get it. Once I went and filed a complaint at the front desk, it was taken care of 4 days later. Upon coming to the room I noticed blood stains from the cleaner in the bathroom/bath tub. VERY VERY DISGUSTING AND UNSANITARY. The General manager (lack thereof) Doug, has a very condescending attitude and is not very helpful. I did encounter (1) gentleman that went above and beyond as we were there, to make sure we had and adequate amount of linen. Again housekeeping does not stay on top of things at this property. The elevators are disgusting, the lobby smells of wet dogs everytime you walk in. The floors in the lobby are disgusting all the time. The carpets in the rooms reek of dirty and filth. Stay at your own risk. But please be sure to be careful when it comes to that (lack thereof) general manager, and another lady with dusty grey hair, she has a very nasty unpleasant attitude, when asked a question she ignores you. This hotel needs a complete makeover from the appearance to the staff, minus the gentleman that was so very accommodating (wish I knew his name). La Quinta of Paducah DO BETTER WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HOSPITALITY.
