Not the best, not the worst The first way through I got a decent room, clean and all was good. The second time, my toilet didn’t flush. Was moved to another room that was dirty. The sheets were gross, there was hair in the bathroom and one of my towels was wet. While the front desk was super helpful and kind, having to go there three or four times because of the issues in the room and the phones not working really soured my trip, especially as I have been driving for 12 hours already. This wasn’t the absolute worst place, but it won’t be on my top 10 for my next drive-through

Super clean. Exceptional customer service. Joy was behind the desk and greeted us with a huge smile and great enthusiasm. Her knowledge and professionalism rivaled any concierge I've encountered at far more upscale properties. Future management?? She's the real deal. All other staff we encountered were very friendly as well. Our room, the pool area and dining room were super clean.

Best Hotel Experience Ever! This was the best hotel experience ever! This hotel was recently remodeled so the room looked great and the bed was so comfortable—-the pillows were the fluffiest. Also, the hotel has the most friendliest staff. The only regret was that we slept in late practically every day —the one day we didn’t, we experienced a wonderful breakfast of eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy which was prepared by Mark. Thanks for making our stay great.

Lovely and Clean The overall experience was great. The staff was amazing. Every person was kind and very friendly. The room we stayed in was clean and tidy. As with any situation there is room for improvement. The drain stop in the tub was not working. The coffee pot in our room needed a good cleaning. The pool was so very nice and I was happy to have it to myself on 3 occasions. It did have some mold build up along the edge. Those are easy fixes and minor compared to the comforts of the hotel. I would absolutely stay again.

A small respite spot in Painesville Ohio Let me begin with the check in. The young lady was not only freindly, helpful, but attentive to our needs for some assistance. The room was very clean, welcoming and had a comfort feeling. A close to home feeling. Our slumber was quiet and undisturbed. Some hotels have unruly customers that tend to ROAM halls and floors, not here. The morning brought forth a traditional hotel breakfast with Jo, the breakfast preparer. She was pleasant to talk to and made sure we had everything we needed. She made sure that everyone that sat in the breakfast nook was satisfied. Our conversation with her was a pleasant change to other hotels. Check out was greeted with a smile and a big THANK YOU for our staying here at our hotel. So in the middle of our 14 hour trip home from Vermont, we found a small oasis in Painesville, Ohio at the Comfort Inn on Auburn Road.
