Great hotel Great place to stay in Corning area. Great beds, fridge keeps beer cold. Stayed while playing in Cinderella softball tournament. Kids had a great time and staff was very friendly. Pool is a great outside gathering area. Overall great experience.

Great stay. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the walk-in shower was great. People were helpful and friendly. I will stay here again.

Great gem of a motel. Highly recommend! Great value! Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Quiet location. Recently updated from the looks of it. Very comfortable beds, cool laminate floors, obviously pet friendly, and also very clean. Very short ride to the Corning museum, shopping within 5 minutes if you forgot anything while packing. Added bonus, gas station next door for fueling up. Complimentary coffee in the lobby and I believe a kiosk for snacks and drinks. No breakfast buffet but room had a microwave and a fridge. I really don't understand some of the negative reviews. If you want a clean, quiet and comfortable place to stay, especially if you travel with pets, you will love it. My compliments to the owners!

Excellent Staff, but Plumbing Issues and Dirty Floors Let me first say, the manager and staff are wonderful people and very helpful. I am fully aware that they cannot take care of all the maintenance issues that this hotel and suites has. Our room was comfortable enough though there were some issues. Specifically the tiny pedestal sink did not drain. We did not notice this until just before bed and weren't about to call the front desk at that time. The faucet itself was in need of a thorough scrubbing, as well as the faucet in the tub. Other fixtures in the bathroom were clean. My husband noticed the next morning that his feet were black on the bottom. Sure enough, mine were as well. The floor was a brown wood, so it didn't show the dirt. We did have a kitchenette and full-size refrigerator. Because of that no breakfast was offered and there was no in room coffee either. My husband went to the lobby in the morning where there was coffee. but it was cold. Also, it appears some people essentially live there and hang out in the parking area, right near the entrance to smoke and socialize. I felt uneasy about this, but told myself it was just for the night.

The Red Roof Inn is a favourite place to stay We have been customers at the Red Roof Inn, Painted Post NY for many years. We enjoy the setting for our group and appreciate the helpfulness friendliness and hospitality of Ken, the general manager, and his staff. During the past year the hotel has received a major renovation throughout that included redecorating and refurbishing of all the guest rooms with new, comfortable beds including new mattresses and bedding, free in-room Wi-Fi, a refrigerator and microwave in all guest room, flat screen TV with cable and an outdoor swimming pool. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Hotel pricing is fair and reasonable in our opinion. Being from Canada we really appreciate that. The hotel is conveniently located near many local attractions, shopping and dining. Watkins Glen, Corning are a short drive away and well worth the visit at any time of the year.
