Disgusting and Poor Management If I could give less than a 1 I definitely would. Let’s start with Check in.. waited almost 30 min with a reservation booked, 2nd thing.. I was put in the back 40 as a single female and she asked why I was told because it’s quiet? Next the room was old, dirty , smelled like mold and the water smelled like dead fish! The bed was the worst I have ever tried to sleep in and the AC never got the room cold. To top it all off , maintenance was drilling the wall next door at 9am and I had asked for a late check out?!! When I spoke to the AGM , she talked over me and I was told the owner needed the lamps done and 12 hours was long enough for me to be in the room?! I was a Food and Bev Manager for 5 years and also ran a top notch Hotel and Spa for 7 years so hospitality is definitely a word I know how to use it when dealing with upset Guests. I am also a CLC guest as well and that didn’t seem to matter either! I finally shook her hand and told her I was leaving! This is a MOTEL which means motor lodge so don’t get tricked into thinking you have an inside room like a real hotel, here you park in front of your door!

A really nice Quality inn hotel we ever stayed Great location. Nice amenities and walking distance to downtown area. Nice riverfront walk and restaurant nearby. Front desk is very nice. Offered nice welcome gift to choice reward member. The furniture is bit old and wall is thin. This is the one of the best quality Inns I ever stayed

Horrible, gross place This is such a horrible place. The room spelled very musty and damp. There was a metal lamp and the base was completely rusted! Furniture was chipped, bathroom very small and very old. Whole room was very old. We went to front desk and said we are not staying and not to charge us and got a beautiful new room at the Hampton. Yes paid more but you get what you pay for. I will say however that the burgers were really good at the Quality Inn restaurant.

Pleasant surprise Facility has obviously been updated in recent times. Great location right on the river and not far from St Augustine. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Complimentary hot breakfast a bonus.

Terrible experience The photos on the web site sure make it look nice, and to be honest the location on the river is nice, but that is were it ends. I started not feeling well while I was there, a friend suggested I check the Air Condition filters, I did, they were filthy, clearly had no been cleaned in years, then there were the bugs covering the bathroom vanity & desk, I was there for work so using the desk was necessary. I was told they had housekeeping every day, I would have been fine with every couple of days, but as it turned out I had no housekeeping for 8 days, and even when I asked and was told that they would clean it that day, nobody came. Had to ask again the next day before anyone came. But all of the above issues pale in comparison to the billing. I was there on a work rate of $98 per night. According to the manager there was a "glitch" and I was being charged $999.00, and although the manager knew this she choose not to tell me and I found out with a credit alert from Experian. Not the best customer service, she told me it was not their fault and that she corrected it. She did not think I should worry about it, easy for her to say, she is not responsible for my credit card bill, nor does she return this mess of a receipt into her company expense reports. She also mentioned that this must be hard for people who live paycheck to paycheck to deal with? What the heck? What was she implying there? I'm on a business trip and just want a proper receipt and all of the sudden she is making a judgement about me because I don't enjoy being charged $999.00 a night!? Good grief. My advice is go across the Hampton Inn or down the street to the Best Western, but stay far, far away from this hot mess.
