Great place to stay Great place to stay, the room we stayed was 2 queens and a sofa bed, room is very clean and has a small fridge, coffee machine and microwave (a plus). We loved it. Checked in lady was very nice and checked out lady was nice as well. My kids enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi. We all enjoyed the breakfast as well. The hotel is near a grocery store and restaurants as well. Its 30 minutes away from the Tramway but still so worth the stay. We would stay here again.

Its a Dry Heat Clean hotel. Bedding is ok. The pool outback is nice and the hot tub works. I stay here for work so as long as my car does not get broken into, I love it! The front desk guy has a wicked awesome dry sense of humor. They always are polite to me regardless of who is up there.

Fiasco in the desert provided by Comfort Suites Family trip for my sister who's dream was to spend a few days in Palm Desert by the pool with her family turned into a fiasco. She is sick and in hospice care. She can't walk and is in a wheelchair. She and her husband researched hotels with a lift so she can get in and out the pool easily. It was perfect and she was super excited. The time came for her to get in the pool, we asked the front desk how the lift works and if they could show us how to use it. They said the battery was not charged and it would take 2-3 hours to charge and they also needed to find the remote. All in all it never worked. The mechanisms on the lift were corroded and not in working order. So why advertise you have a lift for the handicapped and it doesn't work? The way the front desk handled it was poor and uncaring. Why are handicapped people not of importance to this Comfort Suites owned by Choice Hotels? Where was the managers help? I reached out to corporate but got nothing. If you come to this hotel do not expect the pool area to be a place you want to hang out in. It is unkept and clearly not their priority. Its only in the desert with scorching heat, why would anybody think about using the pool? _ Broken umbrellas that we had to work with, chipped tiles and concrete. And a chair lift that does not work. _ I do not recommend this place.

Worst travel experience ever We booked three nights, stayed only two. It was a special birthday weekend for my wife. We booked Comfort Suites because we thought it was top end for Choice Hotels. It was one of our worst experiences in traveling for more than 60 years. To start with, the breakfast was terrible. There never was a complete breakfast. Eggs but out of bacon. The next day, just the opposite. Sugar free syrup for a waffle was like water. Tried cereal - no milk, just two empty containers. When I finally found someone to get the milk,it took forever for him to do it. No bread for toast, except for two pieces of stale bread in the tray. The worst part was the heating and air conditioning unit. We are both in our mid 80s and like it warmer than most. Set the AC for 75 and it kept reverting back to somewhere between 67 or 72. After the first night of getting up frequently to either turn the unit on or off ,manually to try to maintain a comfortable (their maintenance person was off that day and they had no one else to fix it) temperature, we finally decided to end our stay after two nights. Since we had used some reward points for a better room rate, the front desk person said we had to call Choice to get it changed and refunded. I called Choice and was told they would not refund the last, unused night money, but would refund the rewards. Big deal. After this experience, I wouldn’t stay in a choice hotel again if it was free. Other minor nuisances were there was only one small towel bar near the sink. None for the tub. No guide for the television, you just had to surf channels in hopes of finding something worthwhile. We tried to stick it out for the third night since we couldn’t get a refund but common sense prevailed and we went home after two nights. The clerk offered us a different room but odds were it would be the same and then there was the lousy breakfast. Home now in a comfortable temperature and looking forward to a breakfast tomorrow that won’t remind me of the bivouac meals that I had in the service. I’ve been traveling for over 60 years and can’t remember a worse experience. And $527 plus reward points for three nights of torture.

Beat Up Two Star Hotel My room was beat up and dirty (see pic's). I ended up skipping the shower because while it had the rod for one, the shower was missing the shower curtain. Also, the facility was not secure. The side door opens with or without a guest card. I will stay somewhere else the next time I am passing through.
