Great Staff Checking in was easy, as well as checking out. I always double check to make sure I left nothing behind. Well, I left my tablet and Apple beats earbuds. The housekeeper was kind enough to run down to make sure we didn’t leave yet. Glad we didn’t because I forgot my tablet and earbuds. Thank you to the housekeeper that was working today and kind enough to make sure I got my stuff.

With Some Maintenance Fixes, Could Score HIgher Located between gas station and car wash and close to restaurants and other businesses on main street. Room comfortable and roomy, well furnished, great bed and bedding. Had microwave, mini-fridge and windows crack open for fresh air. Lukewarm shower and water from coffeepot. When I informed the front desk, I did get an apology and a "I've told the maintenance man before," which leads me to think (along with the black sharpie line on the faucet) that they know about and don't really care to fix it right. I did not appreciate taking a warm shower one day and having to skip it the next and take one when I got home. Nor did I appreciate lukewarm water from the coffee pot that didn't help with my mocha mixing. The microwave is placed in a way too high position, even for tall people and the bathroom was poorly lit.

Poor non-caring attitude of front desk staff for those with disabilities. Elevators break often Booking site advised me this hotel had accessible rooms for those with disabilities so we chose this hotel and could not arrive until 8 pm. Night desk hotel staff member was not the least bit interested or helpful. Told me she was unable to provide us a room on the bottom floor because we did not book directly with the hotel. Since we arrived late it was too late to look elsewhere. The elevators broke the next morning after we used them to come to 1st floor. The desk staff said they had called in repair. When we returned at 8 pm they were still broke. Same hotel night desk staff member told me it was not her problem and had a very bad attitude. Told me I had to use the steps and if I couldn’t I could leave. I asked if staff was there to help carry bags downstairs to check out and she said no. Other hotel guests told me the elevators had been having problems for 3 days so the rude young lady that checked me in the first night should have told me that when I asked about bottom floor for disabilities. Breakfast is a joke..clean but precooked eggs, biscuits, meat.

New rooms are designed for persons who are six feet tall or more The rooms were designed for people who are 6 feet or better. Couldnt get into beds, use microwave or adjust shower head. We are 5'4" and 5'10", respectively and the furniture and sink heights extremely high. I ask the desk clerk if we had mistakenly received a "tall person" room and she said all Comfort Suites rooms are designed that way now." I had to bring a step stool from our truck to use to get into the bed The room fire alarm was dismantled with no battery inside and the microwave was so high it was dangerous to get hot liquids down from it. There is a pool which was nice, but the spa was closed. The desk ladies were nice and tried to be helpful by offering me a standard height chair to use to get into bed. Unfortunately, that was too high to step up on also. Really impossible situation and if all Choice Suites are now designed that way, we will not be using them.

Overall stay was good We stayed in this hotel in the last week of july 2021. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. But they couldnt provide extra blankets. Breakfast was not much, some muffins and a small burger (may be because of covid-19 situation). Overall stay was good.
