Hotel Service Review Went there back in October of 2019 but the date would not allow us to farther back from 2023. A few cons are listed below: The room server providing service enters the wrong tip amount (usually higher than what we said we would provide). The safe was locked, but the hotel would attempt to claim we used it and charge us for it. - Water in the bathroom would take a while to get warmer, even if the country is tropical, water from the shower still comes out extremely cold. - Reception is not the best, the staff do not smile or have a feeling that they are pleased with your presence. - Other than the above, the amenities were great.

Loud techno music in outdoor area. Had to leave. I put my family here for a Sunday evening expecting they would have a restful night. However by 10pm the super loud techno music from the pool area was still booming and I had to move them to another hotel. A shame that the owners rent this area out to a group that turns this hotel into techno music so loud it's heard blocks away and the type of individuals it attracts. I was told most nights goes until 4am. Try one of the many other hotels in the area for a peaceful sleep

A good mid budget option in Panama The service is excellent especially when you compare the price. They are waiting you with smile, kindly offer their help, I gave the maximal credit for them. The swimming pool is not big, it is shallow, but it is an amenity I enjoyed after visiting the city. Breakfast is not so diverse, but overall it is ok. Air-conditions are new, rooms are clean. Actually, if you are mid-budget travelling, it is a highly recommended option. Metro station is just 8 minutes from the hotel, you are 20 minutes at most from Casco Viejo. The prices in their Birgarten are little overpriced.

There are better options. The room had a nearly overwhelming stale odor. I suspect it emanated from the carpet which appeared to have not been properly cleaned since installation. The ceiling in my room was ultra low. Check-in was quick and efficient. The staff are friendly and professional. Nonetheless I cannot recommend Riande Urban Zen Hotel. There are better options.

Good location As two 30-year-old travelers, we recently stayed at the Riande Urban Hotel in Panama City and had a pretty positive experience overall. We had read online that it was a good idea to request a room opposite to the courtyard due to potential noise, so we did that and were glad we did. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with nice air-conditioning to keep us cool in the Panama City heat. The hotel's bar area was really cute and had a great vibe, with a pool adjacent to it that we enjoyed using. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which was much appreciated. While the fitness room was a bit spartan for our tastes, we appreciated that it was available for guests to use. We also loved the hotel's location, which was close to public transport and within walking distance of grocery stores, shopping, and restaurants. Overall, we would recommend the Riande Urban Hotel to fellow travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Panama City.
