Great Location I loved the location of this hotel. It was close enough to all action of Paris but far enough to be quiet. There was also a grocery store near by, a rental car location, and bike rentals. The rooms were bigger than I expected. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. I would stay here again.

Very Disappointing We visited Le Meridien in October.  Although the hotel was open, it was not operating in a good way.The executive lounge was closed.  Housekeeping every 3 days.  Breakfast was a big problem for us.Although there were precautions in place for tables, the same cleaners were the servers of your food at a small buffet area. They did not follow the protocols all the way from what advertised on Marriott. They did not clean their hands when they served guest's food.  They cleaned dirty tables and then touched guest plates to get our food.  Guests were not allowed to touch anything at the buffet.  That was amateurish.Cannot even call it a buffet, salame,  cold cheese and cold stale croissants, and I mean really stale and dry.   As our group we still paid market rates but found the hotel operating like a budget austerity level, in the least the hotel should have offered discount prices for what they offered.  We are high tier Bonvoy members but received nothing on our check-ins or during the entire stay.  From our point of view, the management lost their hospitality. But still we are paying high prices and the hotel ought to provide a decent service and value to paying guests and certainly high tier level Marriott members should receive good hospitality and services which were dramatically lacking and claimed due to the pandemic.  Having achieved a high tier Bonvoy level has been earned from fantastic loyalty over years to Marriott brand, this should not be discarded by management.  This is a lame excuse to not provide at Le Meridien. Certainly we will rethink it before booking there again in the future.

Not the best place to stay in Paris but better than many other options I spent there a single night during my trip to France last night. Being a Marriott member, I like the brand so I booked with no hesitation Pros - Good location. Very calm area nearby, historical sights are easy to reach - Great bathroom. Modern and spacious. Molin+Goertz cosmetics makes me happy Cons - Basic rooms. Nothing special - Crowds of people. The hotel is big - Mediocre food. Nothing special for breakfast - Tired executive lounge Overall, could be a great deal but consider your options

Great Location With 1,025 guest rooms, Le Meridien Etoile is one one the largest hotels in Paris. Despite its size there are a lot of features that recommend it. I was there as part of a Viking Cruise for 3 days and 2 nights. The location puts you steps away from the Champs Elysees. Across the street is the Palais des Congress which has a metro station, Porte Maillet, which will take you to the heart of the city. Stops on the Metro take you to the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, etc..You can walk to the Arc de Triomphe. although it is a long walk. Other features which make this hotel attractive include:the extensive breakfast buffet which for me was included in by cruise package, the breakfast seating area was huge with an other option in the center court, the large beautiful lobby, the contemporary lounge and bar, the King size comfortable bed and large room. flat screen TV with good reception and numerous channels and the housekeeping was prompt and through. There was no hint of smoking in my non-smoking room. I found a number of great meals at a reasonable price within 300 feet of the hotel. The hotel issued key card worked really well as did the internet service on the 3rd floor that I used to check my flight. The toilet was in a separate room from the wash sink and shower. The toilet room was small and basic. there was no coffee machine in the room but the hotel offered 2 complimentary coffee vouchers for the lobby coffee bar. The lobby could of had an ATM for currency exchange. If I was not part of the Viking cruise the breakfast buffet would have cost me $28. some areas looked a bit dated but all areas were clean.

Pleasant Stay My friend and I were with a tour group and we all stayed at this hotel. Very nice accommodations, with complimentary breakfast daily. Endless croissants were consumed! I liked that the tv in the room was customized with a special welcome message with my name attached. It was nice to see that as a suprise and delight to guests! Somehow, my friend and I constantly overflowed the bathroom with shower water — we don't know if we just splashed about while taking showers or because of the shower half-door situation that's uncommon for us Americans. We needed extra towels to mop up all the water. Overall, I enjoyed the stay at this hotel!
