Please improve your service Called the front desk repeatedly to have the tv fixed in the unit and to repair a bedroom light fixture. Finally at 6:30 Deek and Toby came and fixed the problems. They explained they had been off for two days and were catching up for what had not been done. They are nice guys and are the best! In addition there is only one chair on the balcony. House keeping is good supplying plenty of towels

Avoud Summerhouse condo units! Summerhouse vacation rentals are NOT at all in keeping with this Resort. LBS mgmt handles rentals & says they rate the individually owned units, but obviously they have not been inside them. Our rental #323 had the same furniture as 20 years ago, now worn & out of date, one plastic chair on the balcony, kitchen had 3 plates & 2 wine glasses, internet did not work, etc., etc. Making reservations online took hours. LBS is lovely & homes, condos. & landscaping usually well maintained but Summerhouse units & mgmt need major upgrades. Use private rental companies when staying at Litchfield by the Sea to be sure of the condition of your rental.

Sad experience! It was a couples vacation for the holiday. __ I made several trips to the front desk to politely discuss It was supposed to be a happy couples vacation and the showering experience become a nightmare because I was really worried about our health with the black mold

Dirty Please save your money and find somewhere else to stay! The photos online are wildly misleading. Our room was small, filthy, and outdated. The lock on the balcony door, bedroom light, and bathroom door were all broken. When changing our baby's diaper we noticed the bottom of his feet were literally black from having walked on the floor for 10 minutes. Highly disappointed, we decided to go to The Coastal Dish (Litchfields on-site restaurant) for dinner. The kids were starving and it had been a long day of driving. Plus we ate there the year before and enjoyed ourselves. Once we arrived we saw the restaurant had closed! Online it said open so I called the front desk and they said it no longer served lunch or dinner although online they did advertise being open. Apparently there had been a renovation however never reopened for dinner. I can assure you this facility has not had a renovation in a long time. We went to bed and all felt dirty. We booked 4 nights but the next day told the front desk we were leaving. No way were we staying there 3 more nights. We rented a condo in True Blue 10 mins away. It was actually CLEAN! ✨️ And it was a tiny bit cheaper! Although I love the idea of Litchfield I am SO glad to say we will never return. Not sure if it changed hands or what but they can do a whole lot better. Gross.

0/10. Terrible experience My family has been vacationing at Litchfield for over 15 years. My stepmother booked the rental units back in November of 2024. She booked an Osprey and Heron Marsh unit. Upon arrival last week, she was told the Osprey unit was "uninhabitable" and that they would give us Oyster Catcher 12. When we went to this unit, it was unbelievable what they tried to pass as clean. Yes, beds were made and indoor trash cans were empty, but the unit smelled like cat urine. Upon further inspection, the dishes has been left in the dishwasher and there was a rotten fish odor that made me physically gag. There was a random, rusty screen door being stored in the bedroom closet. The upstairs bathroom had pubic hair and urine left on the toilet lid. It clearly had not been cleaned. Another closet had a mattress on the floor with random sheets and blankets thrown in it. There was also mold was growing on the door. We went back to the registration office and they said they would have the place cleaned while we were at dinner. Two hours later we came back and nothing had been cleaned. We went back to registration and they said it would be cleaned first thing in the morning with the head of housekeeping and we were placed in a different unit for the night. We got up in the morning and went to the Oyster Catcher unit and nothing had been cleaned. At that point we refused to stay in the unit and they kept saying they would try to find us a new unit. We waited all day before we had to take a unit across the highway by the golf course. We were three miles away from our other family members and had to drive back and forth through the entry gate. My stepmom had rented four golf carts that were hardly used and the unit we had originally rented, that was "uninhabitable", had people staying in it less than 48 hours later. We were repeatedly told that the resort manager would call to discuss our issues. It's been over a week and we are still waiting on that phone call. After all of this, we will book somewhere else next year.
