Comfortable stay near restaurants & shops Very friendly & quick check-in experience at this Quality Inn. The bed was the perfect firmness & room was clean. I liked the walk out patio on the shady West side. Also liked being able to take a hot bath. Breakfast was really good with variety. The pool is being redone, so not operating for a couple years. Great location & cute shops & restaurants right across the street you can walk to.

Noisiest hotel stay ever Yes, the staff were friendly and efficient. Yes, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast food looked good but the room was so crowded we couldn’t get in. We grabbed coffee and left. The kitchen staff person was working hard to keep up with the crowds but she was losing the battle I’m afraid. But I have to say this was the noisiest hotel stay we’ve ever had. Between the youth baseball team running and scootering around the breezeways on two floors and shouting for hours at each other, to the 20+ guests hosting a party in the back parking lot with music and tequila and the paper thin walls we were shocked that management couldn’t do anything. We weren’t the only ones to complain apparently. Our neighbor’s conversations could be heard word for word through the wall. Someone needs to take a pressure hose to the breezeways as well. I doubt they’ve been swept, let alone washed down, in years. Our room desk was actually crumbling along the edge. If it was safe to do so, we would have driven home in the night. This is a pretty property from the street, but the “quality”in their name wasn’t there I’m sorry to say. I wish it was different.

Don’t even waste your time Horrible. When my daughter and I arrived to our room we immediately noticed the bed was not properly made it looked like someone just took a nap in it, the sink was full of debris and coffee, there were hairs all over the bathroom counter and toilet, the bathtub was full of water and hairs.

Frustrating & wasted our planned time in Payson. We enjoyed our last stay for a medium range hotel...but quite upset this time...as when one spends over $100's you'd expect to not have these issues. Front desk gals are sweet-HOWEVER...We arrived from Phoenix Wed expecting to look 2 days @properties, call, have working WIFI, see our cells, laptops etc (& ROKU Tv -which worked fine our last time here)...but NADA. We entered our nice large room-which we like. The entry & around the bathroom rug was covered in dirt, leaves & twigs..couldn't believe it. We Went to turn on the light & there was no BULB. Then I went to grab a tissue in the sink area-no box...empty. QUALITY INN needs some Quality control over the cleaners. The bed was fine..nice rest. Awakened again to no WIFI signal for the ROKU, nor our tech stuff. Finally we went to breakfast & I made some calls...but by that time I'd been on the phone to move to another hotel that had WIFI working. We were told that the city is upgrading their signal & a cable was cut..so I guess not their fault on that issue..but still a pain along w/the dirty entry etc. We'll come back & try once more as our last stay was great & personnel are sweet folks. Breakfast still nice for the price if you work the $100 deals online.

Sad Decline of a Once Fine Business. I’ve been coming here for years and know members of staff well. They are generally friendly and helpful. However, I'm sorry to report that this place is close to falling apart from neglect, and whoever owns the property is manifestly uninterested in spending a nickel on upkeep, never mind improvements. Examples: 1. The room I'm currently occupying has a broken phone. I had the same room last year and the phone was already broken then. When I called the front desk on my mobile phone, I was told that they knew it and were sorry. I would be hearing that a lot. 2. Wifi is also broken. “We're sorry.” Again. 3. The patio door to the pretty courtyard with its mature pines needs two hands and lots of strength to open. The handle is loose and will definitely break off soon. This was also the case last year. I’m surprised it last this long. I could go on, but you get the idea. The overall impression one gets is that whoever is responsible has only one interest: to keep raising prices and milking this aging property for whatever it can produce in the way of profit before it falls down entirely. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. I’m giving the place two stars because I like the staff and because when I had to evacuate my home in 2021 for a wildfire, this place was the only one in Payson that didn’t triple their prices to gouge the refugees. It would be great if the owners took this review seriously, but given the track record over my years of coming here, I won’t be holding my breath.
