Hampton Inn, Pensacola Beach: Absolutely the best! My wife and I and 7 YO Grandaughter stayed at the Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach for a week mid June 2024. I've stayed at many HHonors hotels such as Hampton Inn's, Hilton's, Hilton Garden Inn's etc, but this stay was absolutely the best!! The staff are truly an amazing team that made the stay so much fun. So I'll highlight just a few of the outstanding staff: Mikhala who welcomed us, explained some of what the hotel offered, explained the "hotel sharing" where we could use neighboring hotel's amenities like the lazy river, ect. She met us with a smiling face everyday we came down to go to the beach or out for some fun. She paid special attention to our Granddaughter who loved seeing and talking with her. Mikhala made us seem like family, and like we were special!! Amy at the front desk was also amazing!! Her friendliness and knowledge, and always having an answer or finding answers concerning places to see and things to do in the area definitely made the trip something we will remember. She pointed out some fireworks they were having downtown, a place that had pinball machines and skeeball, recommendations of where to eat, the Gulfarium, and a myriad of other things to do around town. I also need to mention Mr. Owen who took care of breakfast for all of us. the Hampton Inn breakfast here was also one of the best of any of the Hampton Inn's we've visited. Mr. Owen was so patient (with customers that weren't always the best). Always said hi, made everyone feel at home. He did so much work keeping the breakfast supplied and clean, but did it seeming effortlessly, always with a smile. I miss his company. I'll say Mikhala, Amy, and Owen are outstanding and definitely at the top concerning customer service, knowledge, professionalism. I don't say this lightly as I've visited many such hotels over the years. Overall the staff here work as a team. The hotel is kept very clean!! ...and that is not easy to do around a beach! Everything works like the ice machines, toilets, sinks, outside showers coming in from the beach. I can't say enough about this stay other than this was an amazing vacation, and what a team!!! Thank you!!

DON'T STAY HERE!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! HORRIBLE!!! We stayed ONE NIGHT, AND ONE NIGHT ONLY! Our reservation was for 5 nights, but the next morning we woke up to the biggest roaches all over our things. We informed the hotel and we immediately left to find lodging at another location. After walking the grounds of this hotel, there was trash that I guess customers just decided to dump on sides of the hotel and it looked like it had been there days, maybe weeks. The pool and outside areas were dirty, as was everything on the inside of this hotel. I know bugs can be an issue where there is a lot of water, people, and food, however what we saw was unacceptable. We found another lodging location just down the beach at a gorgeous facility that was super accomodating and so very clean. We left Hampton Inn know we would not be staying at their facility and asked them to refund our stay as well as cancel our parking fees for each night. They did not refund our lodging fees and they also charged us for 5 days of parking when we weren't even parking there. We complained to Hilton, and it resolved nothing, only a sorry. It has taken a year to write this review, we were hoping our complaint we filed with Hilton headquarters would have a better outcome, but it did not. I don't know how this place has so many great reviews, but pay close attention to the bad ones, because when you arrive and sleep a night, you will be extremely icked out and unhappy and not want to be staying there! DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY HOTEL WITH STAFF THAT DOES NOT CARE!

Have never posted a Tripadvisor review, but this one needs to be posted As was indicated in the title of the review, we have never posted a Tripadvisor review, but have always checked it out before we booked a place when traveling.Have stayed in Hampton Inns for work, travel or pleasure for many … 100 + stays. I feel really sorry for the GM here for the shape of this hotel is in. It’s in such a beautiful area, but the hotel is in extremely bad repair.. hopefully it is possible to post pictures of the conditions of the facility and the room

Excellent location on the beach The hotel has an excellent location on the beach. Ideal for a walk along the sea. Beach rentals just in front of the hotel. There are many restaurants nearby, easy walk. You can eat breakfast inside or outside on the terrace. There are enough sun loungers around the outside pool.

Disrespectful check in experience We are lifetime Diamond Members, saying this as we have experiences at many hotels. This hotel has a great location but the customer service is horrendous. We were sent an offer by Hilton for potential early check in from 8:00-12 if available. At noon on check-in day our credit card was charged $300. Our room was not available. Check-in is at 4pm. At 4:20 I went to inquire about the room and charge. I was told our room was still not ready, as I was telling the man at check in of our early check in offer, the clerk at the next computer yells to me "check in is based on room availability" I told her this was not her concern she yells back "it is all of our concern" I ask her what her name is. She yells back MAKAYLA, DO YOU NEED ME TO WRITE IT DOWN FOR YOU? I was shocked that a front desk customer service rep would act in this manner. I asked to speak to a manger and was told none on duty. That was surprising that at 4:30 on a Saturday a manager was not available. When we finally got to our room there were no towels and when we used the shower it would not turn off, plus the fridge did not work. When we went down to front desk notify of the room issues MAKAYLA was still there smirking and smiling. Unbelievable that an employee of that caliber is in the position of welcoming guests. This hotel has a great location but being treated like we were is beyond disappointing.
