Nice hotel, decent experience for my but not for my friend While I had a good experience. I was disappointed that my confirmation email said the pool was closed. It was not. I would have brought our swimsuits. We had a king bed with a pull-out couch. Room was comfortable, fridge and microwave worked and bathroom was clean. We were actually traveling with a Navy JROTC group, competing at NAS Pensacola for JROTC Nationals. Hotel was good for a group. The breakfast was pretty good, with a variety and fresh fruit. Elevators worked, were clean and efficient. Unfortunately, for my friend, who was traveling with her husband and daughter was denied a room with a couch/pull-out bed. She had a confirmation from the hotel that she did indeed book that type of room. Hotel manager was belligerent to my friend and completely unaccommodating especially after the front desk clerk had told my friend that he could indeed move them to a different room. I was highly disappointed in that and the attitude of the manager.

Horrible Breakfast! Room is nice but they gave us the wrong room. The BREAKFAST IS AWFUL and COLD even coffee! You have to PAY and it’s just a typical free breakfast anywhere else in the country except they didn’t have pancakes or waffles. Shameful to charge for it

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE I gave one star for a big reason. I recently stayed here for a few days, fist morning I had a server named Nichole serve me breakfast, the 2nd morning I saw the same server siting in a car that looked like it had “Hello Kitty” on it, she was sitting there smoking a crack pipe. I LITERALLY HAD A CRACKHEAD serve me a meal. If Holiday Inn condones that, I will never stay at another one, and I’m going to tell everyone that will listen to not eat the food at the place. Thank you for my first experience of Pensacola __‍♂️

It was a good experience... After several years of consistent bad experiences at IHG properties, we switch our hotel loyalty, along with the related credit card and stopped using both IHG properties and their credit card. In order to use up some accumulated points, we stayed here to catch an early flight the next morning. The property and the staff were above average and provide us with a positive IHG experience.

Rude Receptionist Rude receptionist. I called ahead to check if i could bring my 3 cats and if there was trailer parking. I had to ask twice about the trailer after which i got a brief “No, across the street” and then she hung up before i could ask about animal policy. I really like this hotel for their flexibility with animals, but that was pretty rude to hang up without even asking if I was done.
