Outdated but comfortable and cosy! This was my third time to Pensacola, but my first time staying here. Check-in was super smooth and easy, and my Hilton Honors status recognized. Room was large and bright and, for the most part, clean. Excellent location, only a two-minute drive from the airport and a 10-minute walk to the large mall nearby, which has all shops and restaurants you could possibly need! My room had almost everything I needed — except there were no forks in the kitchen. Excellent shower pressure and it’s HOT!! (though the shower did need some repairs) Furniture and decor is also very outdated and it’s weird that there’s carpet in half the bathroom. Also poor insulation to the rooms above — I could hear chairs/furniture scraping the floors directly above me when guests moved them. All this aside, I slept like a baby — very comfortable and cozy and the perfect temperature! Definitely a very comfortable stay, and I would probably stay here again :)

Wasn’t good for me. Stayed here for one night because I had an early flight. As other reviewers have said the hotel is outdated. My problem was with the cleanliness of my room. As you can see from the pictures, nobody should have to stay in a room with a stove burner that looks like this or with food still in the refrigerator. Review so they can hopefully get better.

TV Remote Frustrations Over the last twenty-five years, my wife and I have stayed at this property numerous times. We have watched its slow and inevitable decline as it has aged without any effort by the owner to revitalize the property through refurbishment. Now, we stay at the property only because of its convenient location and pure inertia and laziness on our part. When we arrived the desk clerk did not acknowledge my presence at the desk, she was engrossed in her smartphone at the time and evidently found it more important than doing her job. She ignored me standing there at the counter until I finally spoke up and interrupted her concentration. Currently, the property has worn carpet in the corridors, peeling wallpaper, and generally aged furnishings--our TV stand had two missing knobs and our ice bucket was cracked and leaked. The refrigerator door appears to have been the victim of abuse--the refrigerator does work but appears less than presentable. The TVs appear to have been updated to newer models since our last stay; however, when we arrived neither TV would change channels and were fixed to a single channel. The TV remote would only control the volume and on/off function. We were unable to change channels. Upon investigation and much frustration--the desk clerk was of absolutely no assistance--we discovered that the housekeeper had dropped the TV remote sensors to both TVs behind their respective stands. When we finally discovered this, we moved the sensors to the top of the stands and resolved the problem. Subsequently, I read the Trip Advisor reviews and discovered that others have encountered similar problems in the past---and the desk clerk did not recognize the problem or its simple solution. Her suggested solution was to have someone come to our room the following day. So, if you must, stay at this property for its convenient location, I can think of no other compelling reason to do so.

A Disappointing Stay Was disappointed at this hotel. We stayed for the weekend. We checked in online, chose our room and showed up around 3 p.m. When we entered the room, the beds were unmade, the bathroom was dirty and had used towels all over. We were given a different room but in a different floor. Although it was an upgrade, I still felt uneasy. Now I question if the room I stayed in was really clean, if the sheets and pillow cases were changed and bathroom sanitized. The room is quite run down. The tub and bathroom have rusts and cracks in various areas. The breakfast was basic, not much to choose from. The location is close to the mall, grocery and restaurants. Shuttle to the airport is a plus.

Wedding Guest Good room, full kitchen. Not noisy or stuffy. Breakfast was so, so: don't go because of free breakfast. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Rates were too high, but maybe just because it was May and good weather. Great lighted parking areea.
