Just fine We booked the room and then read the reviews. Admittedly, we were a bit hesitant when we arrived due to the reviews and asked to see the room first before checking in. The check-in lady was more than happy to show us the room and everything was great! Can't imagine what all the negative reviews are about.

Worst night EVER! Worst experience ever!!! Started with the TV not working, exchanged batteries, still didn't work finally got a new remote. At 3:00 am the fire alarms went off, then 45 minutes later the same alarms again. Front desk didn't answer phone, and no explanation was given. In town for medical issue and really needed sleep, not alarms. The next morning elevators not working and we were on the 4th floor. Not acceptable!

Cold hearted Due to Monsoon storms, my home lost power. After 3 hours of waiting for power to be restored APS notified customers that power was not expected to be restored until the next morning. With my home already reaching 80 degrees, I sought a pet friendly hotel to get some rest for the night. I arrived at 11:30pm and was told I could not have a room because I was arriving outside of checkin hours. I explained the situation and the staff member told me it was out of her hands and she couldn’t help me. Your lack of willingness to help a guest facing difficult circumstances, and your lack of empowerment of your staff saddens me. As such I will likely never choose a La Quinta for any lodging purposes in the future.

Dirty, old bathrooms in need of repair, and rude, angry staff. I can live with the biggest roach I ever saw in the bathroom. I can put up with nasty, worn and dirty baseboards and trim in bathroom, the broken tile and the tub faucet that wouldn’t shut off. A bridge too far for me is rude staff. I stayed here for six days. I never once got a smile or a kind word. Always grumpy. My key card had to be re-programmed 4 times. They blamed me for putting the card next to my phone, which never happened. Never an apology or anything but blaming me. It had to be my fault. Bad customer! The straw that broke the camel’s back for me was the angry woman who threatened to cancel my reservation. I made my reservation and stayed 6 nights, but the woman at the front counter criticized me because the reservation agent didn’t do things the way she liked. I asked her how that was my fault. I was charged something like $50 per night for an “incidental” deposit for some reason. I asked why. Just asked. She said it was because of the way the reservation agent made the reservation and if I didn’t like that, she would cancel the reservation and I could sleep in my truck. She refused to give me her name and when I said I was going to leave a review of what happened. she laughed and said she couldn’t care less. What a wonderful experience it was dealing with an unhappy staff in general and this very angry woman. Someone needs a time out. I don’t know why the staff is so unfriendly, but they are. They don’t seem to like customers. On a positive note, the breakfast was good, and the woman who prepared it each morning was pleasant.

Dirty Bathroom was not cleaned. There were hairs in the tub and the tiles were dirty. Which was frustrating because there is a refundable cleaning fee. Rooms were run down. Nothing updated and it really needed to be. The extra lock on the door was almost falling off. Our cards to our room wouldn’t work and we had to have them replaced 3 times on our one night stay. There was no ice machine on the second floor. The bed was fine. Breakfast was mediocre. Pool was fine.
