Handicap Accessible room It worked for us, but the entrance into the bathroom from the guest room was extremely difficult and tight for a powerchair to fit through. The staff was very friendly and helpful though and it met our needs for our stay.

Conveniently Located Near Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks La Quinta offered a comfortable and clean hotel complete with pool, hot tub and free continental breakfast. We were minutes away from Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks. Lobby and guest room wall decor featured lovely scenes from these local parks. La Quinta is pet friendly. They welcomed our Shih Tzu, and the $25 extra fee for him was worth it. This hotel is right off of the highway; however, we didn't encounter sleeping problems due to traffic. Target and fast food restaurants are walking distances from the hotel. We'd stay here again.

Night at La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Peru, Ill Excellent night stay in our trip back home to Ohio from Colorado. Very pleasant with the Receptionist and every other aspect of the facility. I have no hesitation to recommend this Hotel.
