Pretty good hotel, lacking some essential details We were at the Comfort the last weekend of April, 2023. On Friday, the area had a terrible storm, and many places were without power. The hotel had power, and was very comfortable. We had no internet or TV (not their fault), but since we needed to do some work, we found the hotel lacking on a few details. Little light in the room for working at the desk, and the main bedside lights were not working, only the reading spots. Also, we were on the first floor, and there were no blackout curtains, so we had to deal with the parking lot lights all night. On the plus side, the room was clean as was the bathroom. The beds were comfy if not super plus, and the breakfast was edible (5 out of 10)--about usual for hotels these days.

Customer service is not a priority here This hotel would not allow me to check in early Even though they clearly had rooms available. The associate that helped me was a woman named Mary. I am still here waiting now. It’s been over an hour. Then they tell me that if I want to check in early, they will have to charge me a fee that cost more than the actual night that I’m paying. The associates are not decision makers. She said if she checked me in early, then she would get in trouble. So clearly, she cares more about her management approval than the customer experience. I’m not staying here anymore. If the experience changes then I’ll change the review. So if the review isn’t changed, just know, it was bad all the way to the end.

Worse hotel ever I live in Mexico and even the cheapest hotels here are better. I picked up the phone and it didn't work so I went to the desk to exchange it. The night desk clerk told me that none of the phones worked. I went the next morning and the manager told me that "some didn't work." So exchanging phones was not an option. Image you are 82 years old and on the third floor at the end of the hall and experience chest pains so bad you are driven to your knees. You pick up the phone and there is nothing. Or someone is kicking your door in. The people above us were literally stomping back and forth all night. Where is there to go? The bathroom, computer desk then bed. I went to the desk and told them that I had surgery in the morning and he didn't care. This went on past 1:00 A.M. Phone 911 service is critical and to deny it to save money is beyond irresponsible. They refused to refund me a night that the clerk said he cancelled. Never again.

Dirty Place and rude staff I really regret choosing this hotel for a family trip. the place is very dirty, the elevator was full of dirt on the floor the three days we stayed, the room smells bad and the staff is very rude if you mention it. I will never stay in any hotel of that chain again.

Disappointed Stay Over the past few years I have spent several nights at this Comfort Inn and recommended it to friends. This was my first stay since "covid". The staff was very nice and friendly but the condition of the facility has deteriorated badly. Room 212. Ragged carpet at transition from hard floor entry to carpet. Rusty bathtub. Such a shame that owners have not kept the facility un top condition.
