The Arco Hotel Midtown Village, Sonder by Marriott Bonvoy

Great time The space was great, good enough for a short trip. I honestly have no complaints! Just a word of advice to others, the shower does have hot water, I realized after waiting 15 minutes for it to turn hot that I should try the other side, and in 2 seconds it was hot.

Was a great place to stay The Arco in Philadelphia was not only in a great location for everything we needed, we came to run the Philly Half Marathon, but it was well kept, clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the space provided us with everything we needed while there.

Unhelpful and unreliable This hotel is pretty, central, and clean. If everything goes well and you are fine with technology, perfect, but just hope everything goes well. The service is non-existent both by phone and message (I used both). We arrived at 6 pm (midnight on a Saturday in Italy) and since we reserved through a travel agency (in Italy) we had no code to enter. We had 6 bags and had to stand outside for 2 hours. The staff at the sonder on the phone could see my reservations but I could not give them my data and they could not give me the code. So I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them and they didn’t do ANYTHING to help me. We had 2 stays reserved since we decided to extend our stay. We asked for weeks if we could have one room. No answer. If the hotel is fully booked it’s absolutely fine to not provide the same room. Just an email saying that on that day we could leave the baggage in this space and maybe help us with it would have been enough. On the day of the change still no email. We contacted them again and they finally told us the room wouldn’t be available, but we could leave the luggage downstairs in the lockers. 6 lockers for 24 rooms. A joke. Otherwise, we can spend another 40 dollars to have an early check-in at 1 pm instead of 4 pm and wait for 2 hours in the lobby. Our third option is to go outside and find a locker for our 6 bags. Each person I spoke to has been completely useless. I even had to give them all my data again for the second room. Using technology in this way is just dumb and frustrating. Just pay a person who can solve your client’s problems with a minimum of good sense. I would not come back.

Amazing historic building hotel experience in Philadelphia Center City. Beautiful room in a prominent historic building in Center City in an exciting, vibrant and walkable location. Vast high ceilings with great views out of the historic tall windows on two sides with elegant window coverings. The king bed was so comfortable, including the mattress, sheets and comforter, and I wanted to take the pillows home. Once you understand the access code system, it's easy and secure. Great water pressure and hot water. Plenty of parking options near by for our rental car. Fantastic big screen TV which functioned well (even though I didn't need it very much). We took full advantage of local coffee shops, bars, restaurants, shops, historic sites and cigar lounges nearby. Only real down note, was the coffee maker is on the blink and needs replacing which I hoped would have taken place during my stay but was not. My parents (in their early 80's), stayed down the hall and were also very comfortable and happy with their stay.

Will be back Easy to use application, quick and convenient check in. Loved that they had space to drop off my bags until my check in. Clean facility and felt safe. The surrounding neighborhood wasn’t terrible and subway entrance was a couple of steps away if you want to commute that way
