Dog vacay We stayed here because it was the midway point for our 2 destinations. They allowed dogs n didn't have a size max which is nice. The family who own n run it were very friendly n helpful. If we needed something, which was just another hand towel, they were on the ball. The rooms were clean n the shower water pressure was great. The place is dated furniture wise n such but I really don't care about that. We were only there to rest in between our 2 places of interest. We always take the bed covers off n use our own covers to help keep the dog fur, we have 2 shepherd mix rescues, to a minimum. I'm a Virgo n like to keep our room clean even when we check out. We want to be the reason they allow dogs n not the reason they don't allow dogs. It is a basic motel. No breakfast but there's a cute restaurant across the road. We plan to go back in the fall. Don't let the cover fool you. It is clean n maintained. That is the #1 reason we stayed

This is a great motel, best seep I ever had. Nice and quiet motel. Very friendly, and clean. Also the American diner across the street has great food reasonable. I recommend this motel. I stayed here in June. There was a detour on route 322 so I called the front desk at the motel and the man there helped me find the motel. He was very helpful.

The Owner is extremely friendly After dealing with a few miserable hotel owners who are obsessed with credit card deposits, I got lucky and found this place. You will be greeted by an owner who actually appreciates your business, and won't find a fake excuse to manipulate the price. As soon as you walk inn, you will know that you have come to the right place. My room was perfectly clean, and the bed very comfortable. The rooms a bit older, but that's what I prefer. It has a country feel to it. There is also a diner on the other side of the road. I didn't get to stop, but it looks like a good place for breakfast.

very nice experience I came late at night alone with a baby and the staff was very helpful and kind. I felt safe knowing they were on call to help. It’s a motel, not fancy but everything was clean and comfortable. Just would recommend bringing earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. The motel is located off a noisy road.

Old but excellent This place is an older property, but extremely well maintained with great people running it. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and there was adequate parking. There are always things you can find wrong, and admittedly this place is not modern, but it’s a certainly an adequate place to stay, especially for the money. WiFi worked well, parking should be by your door, restaurant across the street. On the downside, I had to let the water run a while before it got hot and there were dark areas in the room where another light could have been helpful. I attended a conference in a State College and this was one of the closest available rooms & when I booked I explained that I’d be arriving late so they had the on in the room for me.
