Kuddos to the staff The staff was very friendly and very helpful with our stay. They went above and beyond. The suite was very nice. The house keeper is excellent and is underpaid as they are never told thank you for keeping the rooms in excellent condition. The only complaint is that all of the hotels are trying to make the pillows small and I guess it's a trend but go back to nice fluffy pillows they are uncomfortable and hard as a rock. Thank God I always bring my own. Kuddos to all the staff.

Nasty place The room was filthy, the linens were dirty and full of hair from the previous guest. Absolutely terrible. The hallways were super dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Sadly, management seemed content with the filth in that place.

Trip Disaster and discrimination After being treated so rudely by a nearby motel, the Baymont made my horrible day, a worry-free comfortable night. I had taken the bus from flagstaff going to Tuscon to visit some family. After breaking down several times on the way, they decided to have us all get off the bus and layover in phoenix until the next day so repairs could be made. My mom got me a room at a different motel on Priceline. From the minute i tried to check in they were giving me a hard time. The girls behind the counter making comments like "is that a he or a she" first telling me that my id was fake (clearly it was not) then saying because i didn't have a debit card i could not check in. My mom even called to put her card on file and pre-auth for as much as they deem fit. They refused. I had all my luggage that i had been carrying in the heat with me. While my mom was trying to find me another motel, they informed me that i could not wait in their lobby and that if i did not leave then they would call the cops. I was not bothering anyone, just trying to figure out where i would go for the night until i could get back on the bus. They made me take all my luggage outside in the heat and locked the doors behind me as if i were some criminal. My mom was highly upset and called the front desk their response was "we have the right to refuse anyone we want" and would not give out the name of the GM or of themselves. I located your hotel and called the front desk; my mom explained the situation and the gentleman was so kind and helpful. Got me in effortlessly and turned my horrible day into a peaceful night with a great breakfast to follow.

Comfortable stay Remodeling is in the works but the place was clean and quiet. Even though I was on the first floor, next to the freeway, I slept very well and rested good. Shower was just right also. I would stay there again.

Convenient Not a bad deal for the price out here. Located just off the freeway which is both good and bad. Convenient access but if your room is on freeway side can be a bit noisy. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the waffle, yogurt, bread, donut, yogurt, sausage, biscuit, egg type of meal, lady working kitchen was great. Kid enjoyed the pool.
