Great stay We had the best time at this hotel! The lady at the front desk-I cannot remember her name but she was there when we checked in around 8pm on Saturday January 3,2026. She was really nice and helpful with all of my questions. The location was perfect since we were attending Dollywood’s final weekend of the season. The kids had fun in the pool and there was a movie playing and other activities they could do. I will definitely be back!

Good for the family or a couples getaway This was our 2nd stay at the Ramsey. Everything went pretty well, except the pull out bed had a stain and a bunch of crumbs on it so we didn’t use it and there were some cosmetic things in the bathroom that could use repairs. All in all it’s a nice place with very friendly staff and a price that’s hard to beat.

Comfortable but needs TLC The hotel staff were great. The front desk made us aware of the amenities. The lady at breakfast provided a detailed run down on the buffet and offered Togo plates if needed due to the crowd. Don’t skip the breakfast it’s included and it’s good. The location if you like pigeon forge and being near all the hustle and bustle it’s a good location. It’s just over a mile from the island and could be walked if you are able. The rooms need some TLC and updates however were clean and comfortable. The bathroom door bottom was severely damaged from water and should be replaced. Same issue in our friend’s room. The cost. I booked a week or so after my friend’s and paid more than double the cost for the night of new years. I checked their site to book directly and a third party. Otherwise the room costs I’ve seen online for future dates seem reasonable if booked ahead of time.

Bad!! One of the worst days I’ve had a hotel ever. The rooms were very dusty and outlet plates fallen off the wall. USB chargers next to the bed did not work. Requested bedding for our children on the sofa bed, after three trips to the counter it took over an hour to get the bedding when the kids are ready to go to bed. An hour and I have to get a lot of bulb changed. Hotel is dated. Lady at front counter was pretty rude to some people that was in front of me while I was waiting in line for these items. The gentlemen that I caught walking out the door that seemed to be administration give me a discount, but it was minimal, but he was very provided very professional.

Good Place to Stay My family and I stayed at Ramsey right after Christmas. We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect to all activities. Check in was a little rough as room was not ready. I won’t really complain cos it’s the holidays and I did get there early (room not ready) so I went to explore and came back at check in time and room was still not ready. Thankfully I only had to wait 10mins. I liked that they had seating area at every floor. The complimentary breakfast was good. All the staff in the dinning were friendly and nice. The only neg I have was the bathroom was a tight space (all the other added perks covers up for this _). Other than that everything else was great. They have an indoor heated pool. Movie at night with free popcorn was an added bonus. I also loved that they had complimentary coffee, tea, hot water. I will stay here again. I know I pointed some downsides, however it’s not a big deal for me. It may be for someone else.
