Clean and convenient Friendly at check in and check out. I didn’t realize the traffic was so much at almost any time of the day to get into Pittsburgh from here since you have to go thru the tunnel. (Not hotels fault, just something to be aware of) room was mostly clean, some juice in bottom of fridge and soda needed vacuumed, housekeeper immediately came and took care of it. Had a suite with queen bed, full kitchenette, and sofa/sofa bed. Would stay again. They offered a hot breakfast but we had a brunch reservation so we did not utilize that. Would recommend.

Won’t stay at this one again!! We checked in Fri Aug 30. Check in staff was very nice. Check in went smooth. But we were very late. When we got to our room we noticed a horrible rotten smell. Hubby knew immediately it was coming from the sink drain. We ran water and covered the drain. Sprayed air fresheners (that we carry with us) In the morning we spoke to front desk. Asked them to please clean the drain to fix the smell. Also asked for a chair in the room and asked them to please clean finger prints from mirror and dirty food handprints from door. When we returned late in the evening there was a chair and they told us they had fixed the smell…..hmmm No. smell still there. But the mirror and door had been cleaned. I asked where ice machine was…”down the hall but it is broken” Also ice machine in room doesn’t work. “Where can we get ice?” She said “There is a Walmart about 1-2 miles up the street!” Also no pots/pans in room. 2 plates and a mishmash of silverware and 3 mismatched glasses. I must say breakfast staff is very good. Those ladies are on their toes! Food is fresh, hot and stocked repeatedly. And they are constantly cleaning. We have stayed in Mainstay many times. This is the first one that is really lacking.

Suggest going somewhere else for the price Pros: Front desk staff were great. The rooms are nice. Parking is good Cons: Worst coffee I've ever tasted! No wash clothes in room BUT dirty washcloth hanging over shower curtain (worth nasty hair all over it!!) Found last guest's food in the freezer! Unfortunately for me the cons outweigh the pros so I won't be back. I'm also a platinum member and this was a rewards night.

A bear attack is more tolerable than a nights stay here. A bit of advice. Skip this place. Lights flicker in the hallways. Every light fixture only has one bulb in it to save cash. Doors are hanging off the hinges. The key card access took too many tries for comfort in its operation. I swear, the ownership lives on the main floor. Random free range feral toddlers with no adults around. The breakfast convinced me that they must have working toilets to handle the peak times of Hershey squirts. (When in Pennsylvania, visit Hershey or let it visit you after you eat) This place is suspect of the following... Crime scene Movie set Porno shoot This equates to a Triple Crown winner (Sarcasm was encouraged during this review to make light of a terrible night's stay).

Don't bother! Nothing seemed to work in this hotel except the shuttle in the morning to the airport! I was unable to dial the telephone from my room. I'd get a busy signal before I even finished the area code! I notified the front desk and was told to use the internet! Not surprisingly I could not access the internet via my ipad. I took it downstairs with me to tell the front desk and lo and behold, it worked in the lobby! So I had to sit in the lobby to use my ipad. I won't be back.
