A Nice Stay in the Center of Pittsfield After a long trip, a nice one-day stay at the Holiday Inn in Pittsfield. Convenient to the Intermodal Transit Center for Amtrak and other transportation options and located near several local restaurants. The staff was friendly and professional. The room on the 10th floor had a nice view of the center part of Pittsfield and was reasonably quiet. The furnishings could be updated a bit, but the bed and sleep quality were excellent. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the fitness center was OK. It was temporarily relocated so maybe it is better in its permanent location. The breakfast buffet was good with a variety of choices. Overall, a nice stay in the center of Pittsfield.

Eh it's okay If you just hang out in your room. The parking garage is falling down so you cant park on the property. They have valet and your car is parked in a lot a little bit down the road. We wanted to grab a drink at the restaurant upon check in and it was closed. Didn't open till 5. Brought bathing suits, the hot tub had ply wood covering. There's a women's room and sauna outside the pool- those doors were locked. The room was fine but above amenities mentioned make this stay not so great. For the room price it really should have better amenities.

Quick stopover Holiday Inn has become our quick pitstop when we're traveling, usually spending 1 night here to get a quick shower and hopefully some quality sleep. I wish I had better comments for this property but it was almost like a typical holiday inn experience where we'd smell people smoking in the property. Though it is not the hotel's fault, it is something we wish it'd be reinforced. I know it isn't a luxury hotel but wish this basic standard could be met in the future.

Nice stay at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Pittsfield I stayed for two days and had a great experience. The front desk staff was very nice. The free valet was awesome. The housekeeping staff was so friendly. I had a room on the 11th floor with a wonderful view. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. There were many spots to plug in and charge. The lighting was good. Loved that they have pump dispensers in the bathroom instead of those tiny plastic bottles that most hotels have. The Dove products were fine. The shower pressure was OK, but could have been better. The location was perfect for downtown Pittsfield with several good restaurants within walking distance. Enjoyed a drink at the 101 bar, but did not dine there. The whole property could benefit from an upgrade and be a go-to hotel in the Berkshires! Adding a picture of the sunrise from my room.

High Risk Hotel ByWalter Frank fromCincinnati Age: 65 or Older Traveler Type: Leisure Staff and Service 5/ 5 Room and Comfort 3/ 5 Value 3/ 5 Room Cleanliness 5/ 5 Sleep Quality 3/ 5 Food & Beverage 3/ 5 Able to Relax 1/ 5 No, I do not recommend this property. We heardy a loud buzzing one evening, discovered it was coming from hallway and tried calling front desk. When we saw other guests headed to stairwell we realized this was a fire alarm. Every other time I was in a building with an alarm it was a siren and often accompanied by a speaker instructing you. When I questioned the responding Deputy Fire Chief he said it was an old system. The room was booked by Roads Scholar. Why they, Holiday Inn Corporation or City of Pittsfield would allow this in a high rise hotel where minutes could mean the difference between life and death in an actual fire is beyond me. PS our friends did not even hear the alarm
