Huge room, clean, might end up in the other hotel down the street though. So I ended up at this hotel when I had actually booked the hotel down the street. That hotel charged me and this hotel had the room for me. Weird and I wondered if I was being scammed but it was true. And they must do this a lot because the lady at the desk didn’t bat an eye just said yes ok. The room was huge. The jet tub was clean and worked great and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve slept in in a very long time. I took off a star due to housekeeping ignoring the do not disturb sign and hollering and banging and trying to get in. Then loudly chatting away in the hall saying “sorry we have the wrong room”. Also they need curtains!! There is a shade but it in no way blocks light so at night there is the parking lot light right there blaring in and as soon as the sun comes up it’s bright and shiny in the room.

Worst hotel ever bugs everywhere Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at the manager of the hotel cussed us out and called the cops on us. After we checked out, he said that we were no longer guest and that we were trespassing. I asked to go back into the room to grab the rest of my stuff. He wouldn’t let me there was cockroaches everywhere. The room was awful. The room smelled disgusting there were staying on the carpet. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut. He came into our room while we were sleeping. He didn’t give my deposit back because we woke up late. The breakfast was stale and nasty. Overall customer service was a -1000 out of 10 would not recommend going here. Do not waste your money.

meh This past weekend I took my teenage daughter and some of her friends to Plainfield for the Anime Crossroads Convention that was at a different hotel but in the same neighborhood. I have stayed at this hotel a couple different times with my boyfriend in the past, but wanted to take the time to leave this review, hoping that something may change and that I can continue to use this hotel. First, the hotel is right in the middle of a bunch of my favorite restaurants and DoorDash is popular in the area. Even if you're not in the mood to go out to dinner with your friends or family, you can still get to experience some of the better places in town. This hotel was priced reasonably well, considering the size of the convention that was the same weekend. Check in went well; the gentleman checking us in was very friendly and polite. He told us all about breakfast and what time the pool closes, etc. We walked into our room (after checking out the other room for my teenagers) and I was just.... shocked. The room did not appear to be clean and I noticed very quickly that there were stains and big dark marks along the almost white-beige-grey walls. The texture of the sheetrock makes it almost impossible to keep clean, and the walls were definitely in need of a good scrub. The room was also very cold, but that was because we noticed the window was wide open (no screen to be had). Not really a problem for us, because we don't have small kids. However, I can see where having a second story room without a screen on the window might be a problem for some. I went into the bathroom and to my horror the bathroom ceiling above the shower was completely spotted with black mold. My boyfriend has COPD and is highlu allergic to mold spores. I called down to the front desk to see if we can be switched rooms, to no avail. I'm not surprised, its convention week, blah blah. I asked if the housekeepers could bring a cleaning solution or something so that I could try to take care of the mold myself. They said that they would and even once I'm back home, we never got that cleaning solution from the housekeepers. In the end, before 9 p.m. I went to the dollar tree and got a heavy grade anti-bacterial soap and spray and cleaned my hotel room, twice. I went to get into the shower I just spent 50 minutes cleaning... and there was no hot water. The water barely got lukewarm, I ended up shivering once I got out. The shampoo and conditioner in the containers on the walls weren't very moisturizing, but hotel soap never really is. The breakfast bar has made significant improvements, but there is still much left to be desired. I would appreciate just a few donuts or muffins or something besides blueberry. Blueberry muffins, blueberry waffles, blueberry yogut, blueberry syrup.

Nice room...BUT The room was really nice and accomodations were awesome. Pool had great hours especially if you have little ones. Very clean and well kept. The downfall to this hotel is the management enforcing rules to guest. It was very loud late at night children running up and down the hallways past quiet hours and the lobby was full of intoxicated guest. The lobby seemed to turn into a bar at some point. I could tell management was not happy about the atmosphere but didn't want to do anything to change it. I know it was contractors from out of town and the money is probably good, but I think getting a good review is better. Small changes can make a big difference.
