Kindness and compassion go a long way! I went to visit my daughter for a few days. On the first day of our trip her car broke down on the highway, very scary experience. The brakes were gone and the alternator died at the same time. We had to have the car towed to a shop. We spent a couple of days at the hotel just visiting. The hotel was so clean and the staff were friendly. We had a meal one night with salad and soup, very good food. The most impressive part of it was the compassion and service that Adam showed us. I called the front desk to ask if they had nail polish remover, he said the didn't have it, but in about an hour Adam called me and asked me to come downstairs. When I got downstairs, Adam had bought me nail polish remover and cotton pads as a gift from his own hard earned money. He was such a kind and considerate person. The world needs more Adam's. Thank you for making us feel welcomed and cared for. Debbie M from Kansas

Clean Room, but Loud Location Staff was professional and courteous. Main areas were clean and quiet. Our bed was comfortable, the room clean, and the overall stay went well. Our room was on the freeway side of the hotel, so we found the highway noise to be quite loud. We were also located across from the cleaning supply closet and maintenance room, so the constant slamming of the interior doors was also quite loud. I would stay here again, but I would request the non-freeway side of the hotel and I would request not to be located near the staff supply rooms. Parking is in back and “feels” unsafe which was concerning.

Tried to book a stay but no one would ever call me back I reached out to the general manager Cori to get an extended stay rate for a relocation. I called every day and got a hold of her a couple of times. Each time she was on a zoom meeting. She told me she'd call me back. The whole work week went by and I never got a call back. It's very disappointing that no one could help me out. I was looking to rent a room for at least a couple of months.

Check in Refusal As a top tier IHG traveler I look to utilize IHG hotels at all times. We have used this location multiple times and recently booked using points / cash for 1 night for my daughter for an important meeting the next day. On arrival the desk clerk had no idea of IHG policy and refused my 22 yr old daughter check in as I was not present even though she was on the booking .... WRONG .... IHG policy states any person over 21 yrs old on the reservation can check in ..... train your people Candlewood .. you lost my future bookings

A home from home experience Granted this is a newly renovated hotel, so everything was ship shape, but throughout our stay of 8 days in 2 rooms we could not find fault. The frontdesk staff were particularly helpful and pleasant and showed concern for us as we were there visiting a sick family member in the nearby hospital. The utensils in the kitchenette were all good and clean and as for the bed and pillows they were extremely comfortable.
