Clean with Great Staff We just moved to SF Bay area and needed to shelter for 14 days. We arrived and Kerri Keith gave us a room. It was recently remodeled and worked well. The staff could not have been nicer in everyway. The front desk manager Kerri Keith really went above and beyond in all ways. She was so helpful with our needs and really stood out as a great Manager. Room was well equipped and we were able to get deliveries easily for all we needed so really easy stay.

Tried to like this place. The only reason it earned any stars was the staff, who are amazing and deserve a better management company. Under renovation, we had hope for this residence inn as our last experience in Walnut Creek was poor. Sadly- So was this one. Rooms have poor stock of items. Sure the room we were in was renovated with fresh paint and wallpaper, maybe also the carpet, but restocked with old beat up furnishings. Our kitchen towels had holes worn in them. The television system is from the 90s- not kidding. You have to use an app to see a TV programming guide but it’s inconsistent, up and down and then amazingly your iphone acts up- DO NOT USE THAT TV APP IT WILL INVADE YOUR PHONE. No streaming available. WiFi is horrible, losing signal all hours. You have to tell the desk the previous night what your want for breakfast -why??? It never changes. Just a jimmy dean microwave biscuit. If you don’t reserve a breakfast you don’t get one. Thankfully the room windows open as any cooking you do will burn due to the poor old cooktops and beat up pans. Again, great staff. Won’t be back unless desperate for a room.

Rude security guard The security guard at this hotel is a horrible mean person. He followed me out to the parking lot yelling at me as though i were a criminal. He said i should feel grateful that he even allowed me to use the reatroom. This security guard is obviously crazy. He even admonished me for getting off work late. I am still in shock. How he treated me was absolutely unacceptable. Then when i called the front desk to get his name, the man wouldn't tell me his name like he was protecting him or something. Never stay here unless you want to be treated like a prisoner of war. The security guard is a horrible mean and scary person and the front desk guy doesn't care.

Staff still superior So, the last stop on our trip was the Bay Area. We left San Luis Obispo in the morning, and arrived here before 1:00 PM ... and were warmly welcomed. Like every hotel we encountered, staff and services were pared back to nothing. We will store that information for our post-COVID travel plans ... however, this hotel DID give us a beautifully updated King Suite. It was very clean, and well appointed. Seals everywhere indicating sanitation. The business park and adjoining mall (Stoneridge) look like something out of a post-apocalyptic movie. It is very sad to see the boarded up stores at the mall, and virtually NO traffic in the business park on a weekday. I have made a habit of looking at elevator permits ... more as a meter for attention to detail. This one took the cake ... it expired in 2013! Apart from that ... everything was nice, and we really didn't hear construction noise.

Not so Great First off, if you like a stay that is comparable to living in a noisy college dorm, you will find this place fits the bill. Lots of noise in the halls from staff and other guests yelling. Parking is inadequate. If the place is busy you will find it hard to find a place to put your vehicle. Lots of equipment in the lot taking up space. Rooms are old and require maintenance. I am normally a fan of the Residence Inns but you should steer clear of this one.
