Pleasantly surprised The reviews posted completely misrepresented this hotel. It is located in a very quiet town. Everything was fresh, clean and comfortable. The rooms were huge, very clean, and seem to be pretty new. The breakfast buffet was plentiful. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again. I don’t know why anyone would post a negative review about this hotel. If I were to make any critique is the faux leather on the headboard was peeling off and unattractive, which stood out like a sore thumb from the rest of the room (#222) otherwise it was worth the money and exceeded my expectations based upon the other reviews.

Ok for one night. Need to be cleaner. Clean-ish and quiet. The bed linens and living area were clean. The bathroom and Keurig were not clean. Breakfast was just ok. It felt depressing with the old decor and limited options. The pancake maker kept having issues. The parking spots are very narrow. Ok place to spend a night on a road trip.

One night only. Ashley was very very accommodating. My children enjoyed the pool. The hotel decor could use some updating. Housekeeping staff was friendly. There was hand sanitizer readily available, so many places don’t have that anymore. Maintenance fixed the issue with my room immediately. I would definitely stay again

Don’t stay here ! This hotel needs major renovations everywhere, everything. Musty. Noisy from highway traffic. Old mattresses, rotted curtains. Very difficult to find the entrance….entrance sign inoperable. Front desk worker wore a sweater that had 3 large holes and she smelled badly of tobacco smoke. Not a comfortable welcome. Never again !

The Most Disgusting 10 minutes of my life Made reservations at halfway point to Outer banks vacation, arrived on time, unloaded the family, checked in. As I was in the lobby, I noticed the warm, moist atmosphere of dankness, usually denoting the existence of mold and mildew. The front desk folks were crestfallen to downright miserable. We arrived at our room- middle August at the Maryland/ Virginia border- the temp was 95 f. The stank of warm moisture starts swelling sinus cavities. we all notice that something is wrong. Doubt starts creeping into my mind. My little one walks into the bathroom and notices a puddle of grimy discolored sludge oozing up from the sink drain. (There is a photo of it if interested in viewing and never want to stay in a hotel again) Despite the fact that the place was conveniently located next to a liquor store, strip mall, and something that smelled like a manure collection point, we decided to not stay. Packed up the family, and just started driving AWAY. found a place in Chincoteague for $600. It was worth every blessed penny after that nightmarish experience. Woman at the front desk was unapologetic and likely an awful person
