Needs a refresh, but otherwise doing a good job I give credit to the staff for keeping the property clean, which avoids a worn-out look for a property that is showing some signs of age. The desk and credenza in the room have taken some knicks, but the rest of the room was in good shape. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom provided ample space. The surroundings are a bit surreal, as it seems like every hotel chain tried to fit a low-rise budget offering into the same field just off the Interstate. If you're using the hotel merely as a place to rest before driving off the next morning, this location is fine, and you'll enjoy a good value. But if you intend to enjoy the area, consider staying in Baton Rouge.

Disappointed Had better rooms at other Comfort Suites. Toilet paper holders broken. Beds weren't queen size. Strong scent in the bedding. Strong scent in the hallway. Breakfast was ok but minimal options. Toilet flush was really loud and ran a long time.

DON’T STAY HERE If you love your family please don’t stay here. After checking into this hotel we were given dirty towels. Upon going to the room with my two small children, the floors of the room were sticky, the room smelled of urine and had a strong musty odor. Due to my sons health condition, I was unable to stay there. I was told by the receptionist that I can cancel the reservation and the 3rd party company would call and speak to the manager and I would be given a refund. The booking site attempted to call and I was only given back 30.00 when we were only there for 5 minutes. Do not book here! The property is not up to par neither is the customer service. I was just told by the GM that there is no one above her due to this being a franchise. I booked another hotel. I could not let my kids stay here. There were no housekeepers available.

A hotel marred by a bad odor Below standard Comfort Suites. It was not a terrible hotel, but, as other guests have stated, there is a bad odor at the hotel both in the elevator and certainly in the room in which I stayed, especially the bath room. The rooms also are a bit small. Clearly, the hotel needs an update.

Disappointed Not the usual CS standard. Poor first impressions. Dead palm out front. Cut off bleach bottle used for ashtray in smoking area out front. Furniture in lobby shows obvious and significant damage. Desk staff was friendly, but on a personal call and abrupt-no explanation about breakfast, room location, elevator, check out time, wifi password, etc. Elevator floor lip is about 1 - 1 1/2 inches above floor, have to lift cart up to make it in. Some room furniture (couch, desk, wardrobe) obviously worn and a bit shabby. Room was mostly clean, though, with exception of empty beverage bottles under the bed. Different colors of paint on patch area in bathroom. Tissue holder cracked and missing pieces. Sticky/peeling sticker/application on top of fridge, unsightly. Mop and buckets sitting against wall in breakfast area instead of in storage/out of sight. Fitness center equipment (treadmill) not working, cheap, arm handle fell off. CS is usually much better than this.
