Awesome Relocating to Port Charlotte Thought was gonna be a short stay Until moving into my new home. Turned out to be a 3 week stay with my dogs.This Days Inn is truly amazing!they assisted me the entire time I was here with my dogs, extending my stay. I can never say enough how professional,and courteous they are,rooms immaculate,grounds cleaned and maintained daily housekeeping above and beyond perfect! If I owned a business....this is the exact staff I would want!

The great staff makes up for the other issues. The hotel with its sewage-smelling sinks while brushing teeth are tied with the unfathomable air conditioners that actually put humidity into the rooms such that they have over 100 portable dehumidifiers for guests who don’t like extremely damp bed sheets. (Think tropical storm humidity, humidity with screen windows wide open, and how damp it would be inside of your hut.) The staff, however, gets a 10. Lovely people all. Breakfast without eggs and sausage gets a 7 because it was a really good selection, considering.

Kiosk check in impersonal. I would give this place at Star but the kiosk check in is so IMPERSONAL, disconnected. Stevenson argued with me about the pet room. Told me to "take care of it the next time." REALLY?? what happened to the customer being right?? I didn't see the "pet" box to check on the website I reserved this room on. He's told me he was looking at it right there in front of him. Well good, take off of it and do your job!!! GET RID OF KIOSK CHECK IN!!!

Great choice Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Rooms were spacious. Beds comfy. It was clean. Breakfast was adequate. We normally stay on the beach but enjoyed being in the heart of the city since we are moving to this area. It was great to experience what it’s like as a local. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
