Not for everyone anymore It’s a classic pros and cons review, folks, with one con so disturbing that it tipped me over the edge. Pros: 1) Safe, gated parking for longer terms stays and reasonable prices for park and fly packages. 2) Frequent, dependable shuttle pickups… with a fleet of four and only one hotel involved, so waiting for airport pickup isn’t a long, worrying experience. 3) Servicable restaurant attached for breakfast/dinner with pretty lakeside views and adequate food, though woefully overpriced! 4) A select number of impeccably professional staff, including the can-do, cheerful star of the Front Desk, Sarah, Olga, also Front Desk and the charming Jacoby in the restaurant. Cons: 1) Guest rooms are pretty grim with a 70s era Quality Inn vibe, featuring your grandma’s curtained, hand-held shower head shower, prison quality towels, 70s dorm-style chipped, cheap wood furnishings and 90s era plug ins for devices. 2) Here’s my tipping point — the Asian investment group that owns this hotel — along with thousands of chain hotel franchises worldwide — has pulled CNN, PBS and MSNBC from its TV lineup. Fox News remains. That tells me that people like me are not wanted at the Radisson PDX. Well, I’ve taken the hint and will look elsewhere to stay during my next of many frequent visits to PDX.

Not what I expected The pillows were the smallest we ever had for a king sized bed as they looked comparable to a decorative sofa pillow, and they were not very luxurious and were uncomfortable for this premium hotel. The grab and go breakfast items were nothing as represented in the photo, not even any canisters of of coffee or juice or anything for people to grab and go but brown spotted little bowl of banas and oranges, and a tiny bowl with 1 granola bars. That was it!

Nice and comfortable overnight stay Have been coming to this Radisson Hotel for 12 years now. It’s been a while since my last business trip, but everything seems to be exactly what it was pre-pandemic. It’s so convenient to Portland International Airport. I'm fortunate to be able to travel with the airline industry and I enjoy every single moment of it. Radisson is part of the Radisson Hotel Group has other brands like Radisson Blu, Radisson Red, Radisson Collection, Country Inn & Suites, and Park Inn by Radisson. They have a bar and restaurant called Lakeside Bar & Grill, a fitness center, a business center and event/conference space. Downtown Portland is approximately 20 minutes away. Also a 24 hour airport shuttle. Hotel rooms are nicely furnished and updated, in-room safe, mini-ref, shower/bathtub and spacious bathroom. I also love the fact that each floor has not only an ice machine, but also a soda vending machine. Thanks to my workplace, complimentary breakfast is also offered.

Nice Place to stay Very nice hotel. Stayed here as it was close to the airport and we had an early flight on our last day. Restaurant was very nice. Breakfast is not free but it was a nice buffet. Have to pay for parking in the gated lot unless you can find a place on the street.
