Amazing spa and hotel ! Amazing experience from start to finish We absolutely love the outdoor hot tub, the views are lovely! When we arrived we had a lovely walk around the woodland before enjoying our spa day. Excellent value for money. Great relaxing atmosphere just what you need when you want to switch off. The spa is lovely! This is my absolute go to spa and I’m always recommending to friends and family. I have previously stayed over night, the rooms are lovely especially the triple deluxe room in which we had an amazing girls pj night. I’m booked in again on a couple of weeks for a sunrise spa and I cannot wait to return over and over again :)

Really disappointing Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience at this hotel. We booked 2 rooms at the beginning of December and paid what we would consider a lot of money for them. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was terrible. I have uploaded as many photos as it would let me to show this as best as I can. The door of the room I was in wouldn't lock, and so I had to pile furniture up against the door to feel like me and my daughter were even slightly safe. My husband and our toddler were in another room and he had to call reception in the early hours due to a fight breaking out in the room above and waking our son. The noise levels were not great. I contacted reception and spoke to a gentleman who did apologise and he offered a 10% refund per room. There was no offer to move us rooms or to have them cleaned. I had to try and clean the bathrooms with baby wipes and hand soap before we used them as that's all I had available to me. The receptionist said to go and see him in the morning and he would arrange the refund. I did, and he assured me we would receive it but it could take a little while due to the process. Over a month later now and I have no refund and no contact from the staff. I've emailed several times with no response. I'm really disappointed. Wouldn't recommend you staying here.

Let down by housekeeping A very grand hotel in a beautiful setting. Nice evening meals, mediocre breakfast. Badly let down by poor housekeeping. This is my 2nd visit, 3 night stay, pleased to get an upgraded room with walk in shower. However design of room very poor, no where to put anything, just a hanging rail for clothes. Small desk top with no drawer underneath, taken up by tea making facilities and telephone. Bedside table again no drawer underneath so lived out of my suitcase. No biscuits, water, tissues in my room on any day unlike last year and shower container was empty - annoying to have to get out of shower to find my own! Housekeeping was virtually non existent, just had my bin emptied. Dirty mug and empty beer glass used on my first night was not collected for my whole stay, What kind of housekeeper empties a bin but leaves dirty mugs and glasses or makes sure there is shower wash in container. Our stay included Bucks Fizz on New Year's Day - but there was no orange juice. About 50 glasses of Prosecco were left untouched, no-one wanted that in the morning after New Year's Eve. I was surprised to see that on our day of departure there was still no orange juice for 2nd day running. No hotel should be running out of something so vital - had I been the Manager I would have sent someone out to get soe the day before. Sadly won't be returning.

Not the best relaxing couple of days Stayed here via a voucher given to us as a present. Seemed to be a lovely hotel on first impression....but...... 1.....on closer inspection the room was very dusty especially in the bathroom, it was as though the room hadn't been used in weeks 2.....fan in the bedroom didn't work, it was a very warm few days so we ended up having to leave the window open, not a problem in itself but meant we could hear every little noise 3.....evening meal.....food was very nice but as the hotel is out in the countryside there is no where else to eat so most guests eat in the restaurant meaning it was very busy. I asked for a jug of water 3 times before just our glasses were filled....no jug left on the table. 4....finally I love peacocks, it was nice to see them wandering about outside, but it wasn't so good to hear them calling to each other at 4.30 in the morning right under our window. Would we stop there again, probably not.
