Perfect hotel in the center A perfect hotel in the very center of Prague, the hotel is extremely clean and the rooms are very large with all the amenities. The hotel staff is very friendly and approachable, the only small complaint is that the breakfast is a little too meager and weak.

Great location / minor flaws The Icon is in a great walking location to all central attractions. It is on a quiet street. They need to change their name - there is NO LOUNGE at all. The chairs in the picture are the chairs at check-in. There is nowhere to sit and have a drink etc. When I asked he said they got rid of the lounge years ago. I was there when it was quite hot but my room A/C was not working. The night person made it worse by putting heat/fan on. The next day the other person gave me a fan. I know that Europe isn't designed for heat waves but my A/C definitely was not working even though they said it was at 21 degrees. I was sweating like crazy. In spite of above 2 issues I would recommend the Icon for location and courteous staff.

Cool design place right in the city centre This hotel is designed and suited rather for younger travelers (at least in my opinion and for the young at least in spirit and soul ;-)). Modern designs, young and sympathetic staff... And it is located right in the city centre, just coupke of steps from the main square!!

Mixed experience... Good • Spacious room, very clean with plenty of closet space. • Superb location. So-So • Breakfast buffet was somewhat minimal, though the food offered was very tasty. Appreciated the made-to-order options, except for the extra charge for espresso. Overall, decent but I've had better. • Shower water pressure was low and the bathroom could use more lighting. Bad • The safe, which uses fingerprint recognition, was too high-tech. I often struggled to get it to open. It might be better to stick with the classic safes that use regular buttons. • The attitude of one of the front desk personnel was very frustrating. Every response started with a "no." For example, when we asked for an extra room key (since we were initially given only one), she said, "We can't, we are short on keys." I've never encountered this in any other hotel. We tried again later with a different staff member and received the extra key without any issues. • We booked two rooms, one for our 14.5-year-old daughter, requesting them to be adjacent. However, they placed us on different floors despite having made the reservation a month in advance. Yes, it's a small hotel, but it's not like the Rolling Stones had booked an entire floor; it seemed more like a lack of attention to reservation details. • They did rearrange the rooms the next morning, but the front desk staff member repeatedly reminded us of a "law" requiring at least one adult to stay in the room with our daughter. While I understand this might be their policy (not a law, as far as I know), the constant reminders were unnecessary. We understand the policy; now let us manage our responsibilities without being reminded every time you see us. Overall We left with mixed feelings. While there were positives, the experience could have been much better with improved staff attitudes. In our next visit though, we'll be looking for another place to stay.

Cobble Hobble in Prague but worth it. A very comfortable hotel in a great location. Really friendly reception staff. The room was lovely and big with a great shower. It was noisy as our room looked into the street and there were bars nearby but that’s not the hotel’s fault. My only gripe is that there were glasses and a decanter in the room but no water provided or tea and coffee facilities.
