Paid, but no room! Our son and his fiancé rented a room because it was close to a wedding they attended and knew they would be out late. The hotel charged their credit card and gave them a confirmation. When they arrived at 10:30pm they would not let them check in because they said their home address was less than fifty miles away and by their policy they could not have the room they already paid for. And said they could not get their money back tonight. So now they are driving around late at night to try and find a room somewhere else. They got the room because they did not want to drive an extra fifty miles after having a long day!

Only in a Pinch The only reason they're getting three stars is because the staff was friendly. This hotel will get you by in a pinch but it is not worth the cost. There is free breakfast but it's minimal. The only hot items were waffles or toast. Unfortunately like most places they were understaffed. But the staff was very pleasant and hard working. Rooms were clean and bug free, but in need of updates.

Great Value and Service - clean but dated breakfast not so much — boo. ★★★★½ My stay at the Sleep Inn of Princeton WV was quite enjoyable. The cleanliness of the facilities was remarkable, and the staff exhibited exceptional courtesy throughout my visit. The rooms were surprisingly quiet, providing a peaceful environment for a good night's sleep. While the breakfast selection left something to be desired, it was adequate with options like cereal, toast, coffee, and juice. The waffle maker was a definite highlight, especially for the kids. Despite encountering some negative reviews prior to booking, I decided to give it a chance due to its convenient location and reasonable pricing. I'm pleased to say that my decision paid off. The Sleep Inn proved to be a fantastic overnight pit stop. Although some amenities, particularly the shower and bathroom, showed signs of aging, they were impeccably clean and fully functional. Overall, I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this establishment to others seeking a comfortable stay in the area.

Unclean and overpriced with no real breakfast option This was my first stay at a Sleep Inn hotel a d week be my last stay. My advice to anyone reading this is to book another hotel but avoid Holiday Inn it's surprisingly worse. Positives: Comfortable bed, no bed bugs, fast check-in, employees not rude but not overly friendly. The Bad: Lobby smells good but due to wall plug-ins, once in the halls and stairs beyond lobby it reeks of wet dog so most likely from carpet. The room angels better but only slightly. The bathroom was filthy with only a shower (no tub) but was so unkempt we refused to use it or remove shies unless sleeping. Furniture and wall art worn and stained in room. The couch looked to be at least 15 years old and never cleaned. The art above the couch had stain on it as well. The room felt dirty like you needed to constantly wash your hands after touching anything on it. The remote was also disgusting I would doubt it's ever been cleaned. The same with the coffee maker, cleaning isn't a priority here. We saw rooms being cleaned on check-in and check out not a singe room was vacuumed, the carpet was dirty and stained but still cleaner than the bathroom. The room had an odor like feet, a stale musty one but better than the hall and stairs. The ac u it would not work, it's was warm in the room so we thought let's cool it and maybe the smell will leave. It would not work on cool. You have fan or heat, so move around the smell or make it worse are your only options. The hot breakfast had bare options, not what you would expect and looked to be old and left over from previous day. This is not a perk do yourself a favor and visit Tudors biscuit world down the road. It's not what you expect at the price for the room. This hotel should be in the $75-99 range per night for the level of care and quality you get and even at that price the shower is usually clean and ac works. It feels like management doesn't care about the property and the quality has suffered. I will not stay at another Sleep Inn property and would not recommend this property to anyone.

Basically, there is no Breakfast -- would certainly not meet the normal description of that meal in the US. Bed was comfortable; staff was friendly -- that was about it!! Only protein in breakfast room was yogurt -- and, it was gone before 8:00 AM. No hot eggs, no boiled eggs, no meat, no fresh fruit, one kind of juice in packaged container, three cereal choices, slice white bread and a gluten free selection only, no peanut butter packets, no cream cheese (no bagels to put it on), no jelly, No, No, No!! Certainly does not live up to a standard Sleep Inn or other Choice Hotels. Very disappointed -- as were the other guest in the "breakfast room".
