It is what it is. The hotel was very reasonably priced. Although, I did book far in advance and noticed the price was nearly double when trying to add additional days. Being from Canada, I don’t adjust to the higher temperatures well so the AC already being on in the room was appreciated. The room didn’t have a fridge and I believe you need to opt for a different room if you require that. The motel was quiet and the receptionist was great.

decent motel we have stayed here two or three times now and enjoy it every time. much safer than an outdoor style motel set up. the people are always plenty helpful. make sure to have ID as they are strict on the rules here, there is even a room with a large jacuzzi (134)

Fine for what it is Stayed here while our house was being worked on. We were a little nervous when we pulled in because it sounded like there was a party happening, and then there was a very long line waiting to check in with just one worker behind the desk. However, once we got checked in, everything was OK. This is the very definition of a "no frills" hotel, but you know what, that was perfectly fine for what we needed that night. The beds were squeaky but surprisingly comfortable, and we never had an issue with noise. I actually preferred this over the nearby Estia Hotel that was nearly double the price.

Disgusting service from Sam Day 1 of Motel 6 at Prospect Heights. Settled into room and noticed a long black hair near the pillow. Called just just let them know "hey just letting you guys know I found a long black hair near the pillow and it can't be mine because I have short gold hair. So I just wanted to give you guys feedback and let you know so you can be more aware of it in the future". Sam replies "and so what maam?". I said well I know it's only a 2 star motel but at the very least you should be reassuring people that you pay attention to cleaning practices, I mean after all we are coming out of a pandemic. Sam then replies angrily " well what do you want me to do about it maam". There was a back and forth at this point because I cannot understand why you would be angry at a customer on their first night who you have had no previous interaction with. It was as if my presence was annoying him. But let me tell you something Sam, from someone who works in the hospitality industry, you should be grateful that someone actually took the time to book your motel because it means you have an income. What irks me is that I was so nice and Sam treated me like I was nothing. I let him know I did not appreciate his tone when he came to remove the hair. But lo and behold, when I pulled back the sheets and pillows after he left, I found more hair. I took videos. Unbelievable. So was the room even cleaned before my arrival. How disgusting

Awful Awful service! No one at the front desk. The place smells like marijuana. The servicer barge into the room without replacing towels and toilet paper. The personnel was very rude and refused to give me the toilet paper. Horrible place.
