NOT Helpful for Diamond Member We recently booked and stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites at 4790 Eagleridge Circle in Pueblo, Colorado 81008. We stayed Wednesday June 12th and Thursday June13th and were there for my son's baseball tournament. After his game on Friday, we drove home (to Denver). That night we realized we left a baseball jersey hanging in the closet (room 427). We called around 10pm on Friday night and were told Housekeeping arrives at 8am and they'd need to check with them, and there was a new guest in the room. We drove back to Pueblo on Saturday morning for his games that day. We dropped our son at the baseball fields and went to the hotel around 8:30am. When we arrived, the front desk attendant was immediately defensive and said Housekeeping actually arrives at 9am on weekends. She also said it was illegal to approach the guests now staying in room 427 until 11am. We asked her if she'd like our phone number in case it was found and she reluctantly wrote it down. We left and went to the baseball game. My son sat out because he didn't have the proper jersey. While we realize it was our fault for leaving it behind, this message is less about the jersey, but rather about the treatment we have received from the staff. My husband called the hotel around 10am and the front desk attendant said she hadn't had any time to check with Housekeeping, and again, she was unable to approach the new guests in the room until 11am. I called back a little after 11am and she said the jersey was not with Housekeeping and the guest in the room was still sleeping. I asked to speak with someone in Housekeeping and she said they don't allow guests to talk to Housekeeping and they don't speak English anyway. She said she had our phone number and would call when she had an update. The second baseball game started at 11am and my son sat out again due to the missing jersey. The front desk attendant called my husband a while later and said she had checked - it was not with Housekeeping and not in the room's closet. Where could it have gone? My husband called the Diamond Status line today (Tuesday, June 18th) and they patched in the General Manager in Pueblo. The General Manager read a report from the front desk attendant about the incident, which claimed when we came to the hotel on Saturday at 8:30am we told the front desk attendant the jersey had been found in our luggage in our trunk? LIE. Why would we come to the hotel to report the jersey had been found? Why had we made so many calls to the hotel last Saturday? We offered a reward for the return of the jersey with no questions asked. The General Manager asked where they should put a flier we made at the hotel with a photo of the jersey. Do you think it will actually be posted? We don't either. Besides leaving the jersey behind, we take responsibility for not reading other reviews before booking our stay at this specific Hampton Inn. We are reiterating the other guest's experiences. All the front desk attendant should/could have said, "I'm so sorry and we'll do everything we can to help you find it." DO NOT STAY HERE!

They turn away Pueblo County residents after accepting the reservation Add me to the list of people complaining about the hotel's turning away people who live in Pueblo. To the hotel managers: you can't accept the reservation of a person with a zip code in Pueblo County, allow them to check in, but then turn them away when they show up. I had stayed here at least a dozen times (while living in Pueblo County) before this latest incident. I have complained to Hilton.

Leaves College Athlete stranded in a snow storm My daughter is an out of state college athlete trying to get to Denver for her flight. The weather and driving conditions were bad. We booked in the Hilton app a place for her to be safe for the night. They denied her when she arrived because she was not 21 but 18. She was crying and scared in lobby. Shame on Hilton for not having discernment in emergency situations to allow her a safe place for the night. Even perfect strangers in the lobby were offering to get a hotel for her, concerned for her. We called next door to Wyndham and they completely understood the situation and gave her a room. So I recommend go next door and stay there.

Definitely not up to Hilton or Hampton Inn standards. All the recent 1 star reviews are accurate. Definitely not up to Hilton standards. Checked into room, half eaten rotting apple on the nightstand. Toilet wouldn’t flush, if it did flush wouldn’t stop running, no maintenance available. On app and on a note given at check in, breakfast is listed from 6:30-9:30. Went down for breakfast at 9:15, breakfast was already closed. When asked, the guy at the front desk he said it’s posted on the wall that breakfast is over at 9:00. No to go breakfast bags available like every other Hampton Inn. Had a conference call run long past 11, front desk called twice and by 11:30 they were pounding on the door and threatening to charge me for another night. No late checkout for Diamond members. Not hotels fault but homeless population in the area is bad but no extra security at the hotel, don’t feel secure leaving anything in vehicle. Out of the 100’s of Hampton Inns I have stayed at, this was the worst.

Pueblo Hampton North is no longer a good place to stay for business people. Rooms are not clean. Staff is unwilling to accommodate a simple request of a few minutes extra prior to checkout. I had a call that was scheduled to end at checkout time. They would not honor a request to extend checkout time even by 15 minutes. Staff was rude and acted like they were doing me a favor by even talking with me.
