Your place to stay in Pullman Cleanest hotel I have stayed in for over 10 years. Spent 7 nights at this wonderful property. I stay in a lot of hotels...4 since March at much higher price points. Wonderful helpful staff. Breakfast offers variety and is 6-10AM. accommodating schedules for all guests. Gym and indoor pool. I felt very safe here.

Great Staff, Loud Stay I stayed this past weekend with my girlfriend and her kids, there were also over 100 high school kids that were bussed up to look at the University. The guy who checked us in and was there at nights was AWESOME. While there were was a LOT of noise, and he was very helpful did as much as he could to help us. My girlfriend also called down quite a few times to request items that she forgot, and he personally brought them up. I wish I could remember his name. The breakfast was okay, but I suppose that's expected with Hamptons. It looked like the first floor was under construction but the lady I spoke to at check out said they were almost done. We will be back, hopefully on a quieter weekend.

Lovely Hotel! We visited family in Pullman over Christmas and the Holiday Inn Express was the most convenient location. We were very pleased! First, the staff at the hotel was terrific! Santina, the breakfast attendant, was extremly friendly and helpful and made everyone feel very welcome. The housekeeping staff was flawless and we enjoyed the Keurig coffee pot in the room plus the fact the heating system worked very well! I loved spending time in the pool and jacuzzi with my granddaughter. Our only complaint might be the overripe breakfast bananas without many fruit options.

Clean, comfortable, safe, pleasant lodging that represents the Holiday Inn Express brand quite well This is a very nice property that should meet all reasonable requirements for any traveler looking for affordable but safe, clean, pleasant, comfortable lodging. Note that when I give 5 stars, I am providing a rating of my experience, with consideration of price paid. That's a little different from the notion of a "5 star hotel" (nobody will confuse HI Express with a Four Seasons). I'm not sure when this hotel was constructed, but it looks and feels "new-ish". It checks all the boxes: comfortable bedding and linens, pleasant and welcoming lobby (despite some construction/ remodeling), competent and friendly desk staff. It was quiet with the exception of some construction noise, which of course is a temporary matter (I am writing this review in October 2023), but construction noise could be of concern to those who plan to occupy their room during daytime hours (if this applies to you, I might suggest proactively asking the hotel to put you in a room far from the construction area). I did not have time to use them, but the pool and fitness center seemed nice. The hotel offered milk & cookies in the evening, and a typical Holiday Inn Express complimentary breakfast including a few hot items and the famous decadent, warm, gooey cinnamon rolls (those wishing to watch their intake of sweets will need strong willpower to avoid having more than one). There is one little thing this hotel does that is so basic and simple and helpful, and I wish more hotels did it: in the room was a printed list of all the TV channels. I arrived on a Monday evening and wanted to get into the room and catch the end of the Monday Night Football game (Packers-Raiders), and was glad I did not need to scroll through the channels to find the local ABC affiliate . . . and then later the same when I wanted to catch the news on CNN. I also appreciated that the in-room mini refrigerator had a small freezer compartment so that I could re-freeze the ice blocks I use with my cooler. The location is relatively convenient to WSU, though not within walking distance. The hotel has a shuttle van; I saw it but did not use it; they supposedly provide complimentary transportation within a 10-mile radius. I appreciate that this hotel is dog-friendly. My pooch slept very soundly. She asked me to say that she gives the hotel "4 paws" (she'd give 5 paws but she has only 4 legs).

Construction Unfortunately when we booked this hotel online, there was no indication that major renovations were taking place. The pool, fitness center, and laundry room was not available for use. The breakfast area was under construction also, but they provided sack breakfast options instead. The ice machine ran out of ice because only one was available for use. The staff made the best of the situation, but it was noisy during the construction. I wish they noted the plans for construction when I made my reservations. The property definitely needs an update, but maybe it should have been done during COVID lockdowns.
