Get what you pay for This hotel is extremely run down and understaffed. My rating is not based on customer service- because they were very friendly and eager to please. The understaffing reflected greatly in the cleanliness of the hotel. To be perfectly honest, I was disgusted by how dirty it was. Breakfast area was always very dirty and scary to eat from. Food options were the same daily with little variety. It would have been nice to alternate options a little. Beds were comfy, and everything was operable in our room. Parking lot is in serious need for a repave also. Overall, this hotel needs some attention and new management. There’s potential but hopefully someone can turn things around.

OK for Quick Stop-Over This hotel is convenient to town/university and the front desk staff were personable. If you can book it for under a hundred a night it is a pretty good value for a quick one-night stop-over. But it is an older property that is showing its age both outside and in. Our room's window was about 15 feet from a busy road and we heard dogs barking in the room next door. There were only two couples in the breakfast room in the morning but there was NO coffee (??), cold water (???) or sausage available. And when we notified the attendant, there was little urgency to get them replenished.

Read my review All was good until they tried to sneak some bs charges in the receipt without notifying me, I used this hotel for a crew of mine and when I look at the receipt it’s 800$ of bs charges(I.e vaping in hotel lobby300$). I find this very unprofessional and honestly very snake like behavior

Good location in Pullman My husband and I stayed two nights. All the staff we interacted with were very pleasant (even the poor woman who ran breakfast service and was run raged the first morning because there were two busloads of teenage musicians staying). Speaking of breakfast, it was sausage links, scrambled eggs with cheese, and diced red potatoes (and, of course, biscuits with gravy and waffles if that's your fancy). Our king room was huge with a small table and chairs as well as a desk. The sink was outside the bathroom, which I prefer. Despite the hotel being full, it was surprisingly quiet. The Bill Chipman Palouse Trail for walking and biking is adjacent on one side of the building, and the restaurant Birch and Barley on the other side is worth visiting. The hotel is close to the WSU campus and the road to Moscow. A couple things to note about the hotel. There is no elevator since the building has a creek running under it. We were on the second floor and were able to carry our luggage up without much effort, but the front desk person did offer to help. Also, for anyone who is scent sensitive, the lobby and our room were very perfumed when we arrived. We opened our window wide to air the room, which helped a lot, and the scent in the lobby went away and was not refreshed during our stay (thankfully!).

Great Stay This hotel exceeded our expectations during our 4 night stay. Clean, functional room, great location, courteous and professional staffing. Breakfast was a standout. Hot breakfast with eggs, sausage links and actual edible red skinned potatoes each day. Best pricing, at least during our stay period, in the area. Choice hotels are kind of a hit and miss nationwide. This one is a hit.
