Quality Inn & Suites Quincy - Downtown

Clean and Quiet The hotel was very clean and updated, with a walk-in shower. My room was quiet, although I could hear a toilet flush when I was awake, but nothing woke me. The breakfast included the typical hotel offerings, not very appealing to me but at least quick food and coffee without having to go elsewhere. Employees were extremely friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

Painting underway Would have given a four but there is some sort of renovation going on. Our floor smelled like paint and the fitness room is needs upkeep. Staff courteous especially the woman who tends the breakfast area. There are few choices in Quincy and this is usually a good choice.

Needs updating and maintenance. Staff needs to get attitudes reviewed. We had reservations for 3 rooms for two nights each made in advance . We were there for a wedding. Two of the rooms were Handicap accessible rooms. The guests in those rooms are in their 80s and have balance issues. The rooms were marked handicap accessible but didn't even have grab bars in the shower. The third room was mine. We had hot water in the sink but not in the shower. We were going to a wedding and had to get ready so had to wash up in the sink . When I told the front desk manager about these problems she was rude and didn't really care. She said did you let the water run for a while. I said over 10 minutes, does it take longer ? She said she would have maintenance look at it. Next morning same problem . We washed up and checked out. The same rude front desk manager said maintenance checked out the problem and said it worked fine. I told her that was not true. We asked her to come to the room and we would show her. She rudly said no. The rooms haven't been updated in many years. It use to be a Hampton Inn years ago and we stayed there then . The beds were not very comfortable and the TV was little and old. The breakfast service was good. Our entire group travel often and agreed this was probably one of the worst hotels we have stayed In. We would not recommend staying here. The rude front desk manager made the problems even worse. There are certainly better choices in Quincy IL. The name Quality should be removed from this hotel.

Good night sleep This is my 3rd stay at this hotel and I will stay again. It is clean, has a nice staff, and is quiet so I get a good night’s sleep. Good breakfast including hot items. Want to mention that pool area is under construction as it was last time we stayed there earlier in the year.

Great place to stay! We stayed here 3 nights & were very pleased with our stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Shelby, who was very pleasant & helpful, she was there every evening of our stay. The lady during the day was friendly, pleasant & helpful. We stayed on the 3rd floor, it was quiet, the bed & pillows were comfortable. We slept well all 3 nights. We came for the weekend to visit Hannibal & it was an easy drive from our hotel. The breakfast was simple, but hot & good. Egg bacon cheese bagels one morning, scrambled eggs & sausage & French toast & then eggs, biscuits, sausage link & sausage gravy another morning. It wasn't far from the Mississippi River & the Clat Adams Bicentennial Park, which a nice place to walk & sit & watch the river. We would stay here again.
