Invalid charges on my credit card, unresponsive management Please stay elsewhere! This place stole money from us! I wish I read the reviews of this place ahead of time but we were travelling and needed to stay somewhere for one night. Once we got home from our vacation I checked my credit card and this place charged an additional 2x $100 and 1 x $50 ($350 Canadian). I called and have never spoken to anyone more rude and arrogant. He told me the charges were for smoking. I told him we do not smoke, there must be an error and he said there was “evidence”. To reverse the charges I would have to speak to the manager. Well I never heard back, and called and left messages another 3 times. Contacted Sonesta, the parent company 4 times and each time they were very polite but just forwarded my concerns to the manager at the property. I never was given any breakdown as to the additional charges, no courtesy of a response and discussion over these invalid charges. I was going to complain to the BBB but they already have a “F” rating. I would have rather slept in my car at a nearby Walmart. Thankfully my credit card company investigated and reversed the charges but unless I hear otherwise, this is theft, pure and simple.

"Used to be a nice budget hotel", but now its terribe! For the past 10 years we have stayed at this hotel while visiting the Kenosha area as it was a nice budget hotel. But its been a few years since we stayed there, and now in July, 2020 we stayed for a weekend and what a dump! Before we could get in the door there were 10 scaring looking people standing around the door smoking! Plus there were people just sitting in cars in parking lot that the cars had no license plates on which looked not right. The desk clerk was nice though, but wasn't very good at her job, as the room she gave us was out of order, as the air conditioner was broke, and we had to sit in hot room for 2 hours before she moved us! We were on the 2nd floor, and Its to be a no smoking hotel, as we don't smoke. But the smell of Pot smoke in the hallway was so overwhelming it made us sick! The room only had one towel in it, so had to go get more towels. The room was sort of clean, but the remote for tv didn't work, and the bed was old and lumpy, and not a place we will ever go to again. They need to address the people outside smoking, and people smoking pot in hallways and clean up the rooms before no one stays there!

Disgusting!! We were driving to Wisconsin to spend a few days with our brother-in-law who was dying. Booked this hotel on line for five days. After a long drive from Texas, we checked in. The room was totally disgusting! It was filthy, and there were no wash cloths. We couldn't stay. There were people hanging around in the hallways, and at the doors when you walked in, and in the parking lot. We left without spending the night, and now we can't get a refund for the four nights we weren't there. Going to reach out to home office, and file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Disgusting came here to get away from the kids for a little bit during this hole corona thing. checked in and police showed up with food . no food for me and girl but food for a ton of homless folks who were loud and outside smoking non stop. cops wouldnt tell me why they was here but they came back like a couple times more. no clean anything room was gross if they going to have homeless ppl hear they need to tell folks about that. room wasnt wht i expeced and sholdn't have had to pay full price

Nasty as ever Bugs everywhere, mold. Just disgusting! People sitting in parked cars all night. The place is atrocious. I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone. Just filthy. Disgusting. The bathroom is horrible. Should be condemned.
