Old and Tired. Stay elsewhere. This hotel needs a serious renovation. When you call the first thing it says on the recording is welcome to our newly renovated property. This is false. I would guess late 90’s early 2000’s for the last remodel. The biggest issue is the old Mercury filled CF lightbulbs in the floor lamp, and it was hanging because the fixture socket is actually broken. This is so dangerous I have no words. The headboards are peeling, the furniture is worn and outdated. The carpet is just plain gross. Stained all down the hallway and in our room. Curtains have holes and are dragging on the ground. Shower curtain is frayed, the wallpaper is peeling, and the thermostat is hanging on the wall, and fell into my hand when I touched it. It’s a depressing dingy room. The sheets don’t even fit the bed and are hanging off the bed. all. How is this a Hilton? And how do they get away with charging $200 a night? I’ve stayed in motels better than this. I think the 5 star reviews must be AI bots, cause I can’t wrap my head around them. I stay in hotels a lot and am not that picky.

Just Ok I stayed at the Hilton Raleigh North Hills for the Dolls of the World Expo. I live in Hawaii and staycation at local resorts and hotels on a regular basis. This hotel was ok. The front desk service was less than great. Most of the front desk agents do not seem like they want to be there. Upon checkout, the girl gave us attitude when we asked for a printed receipt. Anton, our server at the restaurant in the lobby was great. There was a bunch of us that had drinks and food by the bar area and we all had separate checks. He was friendly and attentive. The room was old and in need of a remodel, but while some of our friends had some issues with cleanliness in their room, our room appeared clean. There was some wallpaper peeling in the corners of a couple of the walls and there was a spot on the ceiling that was bubbling from water damage. The elevators in the hotel were not equipped for the amount of people using them that weekend. At least one, sometimes two of them were not working. One of the elevators even dropped two floors while some of our friends were in them, so we used the stairs a lot (it's tricky to find the stairs, but they're located by the pool area down the hall from the meeting / ballrooms. The lobby was frequently very warm and it felt like the AC was not working properly there. And the ballroom where the doll show took place was extremely hot and uncomfortable. While there were a lot of people walking around, it was just unreasonably hot. I'd give the hotel a 2.5 / 5. I still had fun at the show with my friends, so it was fine, just nothing to write home about.

Leaking shower from the shower above my shower I was in room 227 for about a week. When I showered towards the end of the week. The bathroom ceiling was leaking from the shower above and emptied onto my head. I told the front desk and the leak stopped and they didn't fix it. They offered me points for the inconvenience but i never received them and the morning staff at the breakfast buffet had the worst customer service I had ever experienced. They pick and choose who they would help and wait on while others were rerouted to wait. Horrible stay

NOT good Our stay at the Raleigh North Hills Hilton was a disappointing experience; only the bar tender kept this rating from being lower. The property is older, not well maintained, understaffed, and a less than helpful front desk. For our two night stay here were our lowlights: 1. No acknowledgement (upgrade) of Amex Platinum or Hilton rewards; 2. Parking space non-existent. From the bar we heard complaints and requests for reimbursement of $ because they had to park off property and were still charged; 3. Maid service did NOT clean our room for the two day stay. We had to call and request clean towels; 4. Ordered a burger “medium well” for a picky eater and it was served “medium raw,” This place is borderline motel. You’ve been warned.
