Best Western Plus Rancho Cordova Inn

Good location and free parking and breakfast--decent rooms, dirty pool and loud The location was good for where we needed to stay for a state cup soccer tournament. Rooms were fine (clean enough and it had a fridge and microwave in it which was convenient) with free parking and nice free hot/cold breakfast buffet. The pool was very cold and also dirty, which they kind of sifted leaves out of, and there was a little putting green that was good for the kids. Because we traveled with our dog, we had a first floor room right next to the pool and it was sooooo loud. There were families still there screaming and playing in the pool until 11:30pm and none of the staff did anything about it. There was also broken car window glass in the parking lot where our room was, so we ended up parking further from our room near other cars by the front lobby just in case because it did not feel as secure. Also, be mindful that their website says check out is at 12pm, but the hotel won't budge and says it 11am so you have to ask for late checkout, which ends up being 12pm anyway before they charge late fees. Their website also says the pet fee is $20 but will charge you $30 plus fees bringing it to about $35 and when I asked multiple times, they said they have the discretion to charge any fees they want, which is bonkers. We likely will not come back here because it felt dishonest and misrepresentative of what they advertise, despite the staff being quite nice--accomodations were okay but not best western "plus" quality.

Seemed clean but... Desk staff was not very friendly at check in or out. The room seemed very clean and comfortable for the price. When we got up the next morning and decided to pack up before breakfast, I opened the in room fridge to grab a bottle of water and found roaches, 3 live ones and who knows how many more that I didn't see. Needless to say we decided to leave and skip breakfast at the hotel. The guy at the desk was the same unfriendly guy that checked me in the day before and seemed annoyed that I asked for a printed receipt so I didn't bother mentioning the roaches and just left. I can't recommend staying here, I wouldn't stay here again.

Clean and secure The hotel is an older motel style property, but well maintained and very clean. Security is very good - the room key is always needed for the elevator and even for the staircase doors. Unfortunately I didn't have much time to enjoy the breakfast, but there were plenty breakfast items available. Though the hotel is located next to the freeway, the room was very quiet. I only stayed for one night, but it would be a good choice for a longer stay as well

Good place to stop Will return again on our next trip to South Lake Tahoe this hotel is a great layover place. Good layover place and the night clerk was so helpful and gave us the VIP treatment. We noticed the he whole property was will maintained. The hotel room was very clean.

It really good place to stay. Very, very clean hotel. Very good and delicious breakfast. In the safe area. Very friendly people. Everything in the room worked, including high speed Internet. Loved this stay. Every worker at the hotel did everything to take care of their customers.
