3 Night Business Trip This hotel was clean and comfortable. The modern decor was interesting and fun. Some things were getting worn down like the elevator floors but not a detriment to the stay. There aren’t a whole lot of options for food in the immediate area (walkable).

Business travel If I could I would put a 0 out of 5. Myself and copilot stayed here for multiple nights. This is identical to a couple of Aloft Hotels we have stayed at before in other locations. Those other locations were clean and nice. But the shampoo and body wash is horrible. The shampoo is like glue and the same with the body wash. The elevators were run down and there was graffiti in the elevator. The elevator floor was in need of work as well. My copilot had to switch to 3 different rooms due to no hot water in the shower, broken blinds, and broken fridge. The last room he moved to didn't have a fridge working and they replaced it with a fridge with soda spray inside. Then there was water pipes near the stairs that every other hour you would hear make noises. We work nights and sleep during the day. With the busy road outfront of the hotel you hear every car and a lot of noises. We both decided we will tell our company to not book another Aloft again. Very poor experience and we both are Platinum Elite status with the rewards. We live in a hotel usually 15 days a month. There is no microwave in the rooms as well.

Overnight Stay During Move Overall the hotel was nice. Everything was clean and the decor was modern. The check in process was smooth. The location is close to restaurants and shops. Reasons for 3 rating and not 5: 1) The COVID protocols are a joke. There are signs all over the lobby and doors reminding guests that masks are required at all times. While I was checking in another guest and his son walked through the lobby and were going back and forth unloading their car without masks on. None of the employees said anything. When I questioned it one of the employees quipped, “they do have masks on”. As if I was crazy and seeing things. When the maskless guests returned from their car again I pointed out that they in fact did not have masks on. The desk attendant hesitated and then reluctantly reminded them masks were required. These people walked back and forth several times. It was clear nothing would have been said or done if I had not pointed it out. 2) The heating unit in the room was really loud. There were two choices, freeze or be up all night with the noise. 3) We have Platinum Elite Bonvoy loyalty status. Our request for late checkout was denied. Not even 30 minutes. I checked the website. The hotel was not fully booked for the following day.

Disappointing stay, wouldn’t recommend. I stay in plenty of hotels because I love to get away. This stay was the most difficult times I’ve experienced with a hotel. I reserved my room via Southwest a few days ahead of time for 10/31/2020 to 11/02/2020. Unfortunately, when I arrived with my guest for check-in, the lady at the front desk said that she had given our reservation away because of a “name mix-up”. We had to go through the whole process of giving our info. She even went to the back and had us wait in the lobby. The check-in process itself took about 25 minutes. When we received our keys, we went up to the room. Me being the “clean freak” that I am, I disinfect and wipe down things myself. I found that many things were dirty. With this being a pet friendly hotel, I understand that there are “messes” that dogs leave behind. However, there was so much poop in the doggie area that I didn’t want my puppy near it. They have the poop bag station, but it was empty the first day that I got there and still empty the third day. I noticed that our room phone couldn’t connect to the front desk, the plug and play electronic box wouldn’t connect to the TV, a couple of light switches didn’t work, and the toilet barely flushed. My complaints were ignored. The last morning of my stay the fire alarm went off, but there was no fire. Overall, terrible experience at the Aloft in Rancho Cucamonga.

BUGSSS( Horrible ) Things where good room looked good but after laying in the bed for a few hours we pulled the sheets we discovered live bugs crawling as well as some dead ones. Asked for a refund and only solution was to remove me and place me in another room bad service disgusting. Never again
