Be skeptical of high reviews So the reviews of this hotel was mixed, but I have no idea why as this hotel was very run down. Our rooms were very humid, to the point the bathroom door wouldn’t shut due to it being swollen, there were water stains on the ceiling, ink all over the walls, stains on the shower curtains and bedding. I don’t think they were dirty, just old and should have been taken out of commission. Luckily we only needed to stay overnight to get some sleep, before we hit the road again, otherwise I would have not wanted to stay around more than the few hours we did. The only reason I even gave it a 2/5 stars is, because they accommodated my room requests for both rooms to be next to each other, so they were adjoining. For the price it was definitely not worth it, more on par of a $59 room; but that seems to be a trend in the area. As we stayed in a different hotel on the first leg of the trip that was even more expensive, but not much better and the reviews of the various hotels hinted as such. It seems like if you want a decent hotel in the area, expect to pay $300 or more a night, otherwise the $150-$200+ rooms are more on par with low budget motels. If you are planning on staying a few nights, I would suggest elsewhere. If it’s just to catch a few zzz’s and you don’t want to sleep in your vehicle then you may be okay.

Out of Business with No Refund and No Notice! The hotel went out of business and did not even notify us. Choice sent me an email saying the hotel was out of business over a month after my reservation and about a week before my trip, but they had no knowledge of who may own it now and no "means" to refund my money that had been taken a month early when I made the reservation. They only knew that the hotel had closed. I think I may no longer be using hotels in the Choice conglomerate if they cannot guarantee a room or satisfaction from their affiliates. Not very happy.

Hotel cancelled our reservation day of arrival The hotel cancelled our reservation after we arrived (this was for a late August 2023 stay). While waiting in the lobby to check in, they notified us that they could not open (apparently they have been shut down for a renovation), due to not getting clearance from the fire department. They also told this to another party who was waiting to check-in. Didn't offer to help make new reservations or any recompense, ended up having to spend significantly more to find another hotel. Should have been obvious to us there was an issue when we drove up and there were no cars in the main parking lot.

Much wrong with this hotel, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! We stayed here twice on different dates. The first stay, no elevators were working and they put us on the second floor! And they didn't have us listed for the next day stay. Fortunately they were able to at least put us in for a second day. We have several suitcases, a concentrator (for breathing) and various other things we didn't want left in the car. The TV didn't work, the curtain rod was off the wall and just hanging there, The refrigerator wasn't working and was off and there was food left inside that had spoiled. I went to the front desk and let them know, but nothing was done. Why didn't we leave? Hotels were hard to come by at this last minute. When we came back on our return stay, they did manage to put us on the 1st floor. Now we see on our bill that we were charged $16.99 additional booking fee!!! This time around, our toilet was plugged up and they couldn't fix it. As it was getting late, we just stayed there and left in the morning. I had asked the manager/owner to comp us a room because of all of the problems, but she would not. I recommend that you do not stay here. They were unwilling to make things better for us and now we see even charged us more! They should refund all our money.

Checked In and Checked Out Zero stars! When we got to our room there was a rat trap package by the garbage can. Upon further inspection, we found two sticky traps by our beds. We grabbed our stuff and went somewhere else. Nasty
