Glad I Didn't Cancel!!! I spent the night here while attending the York Model Train Show in York, PA. Red Lion, PA is a small blue collar town. I really wanted to stay closer to the York, PA fairgrounds, but I found this place. It was quite affordable. The owner is very nice, and even walked me up to my suite to make sure I was satisfied with the accommodations. The room was very spacious and had great amenities. The owner asked me what time I wanted breakfast, and at exactly 7:30 a.m., he brought me a breakfast appetizer with my coffee and juice. Just as I finished it, he brought me an egg dish with fruit garnishing it. Quite a classy flare for breakfast. I hope to stay there again in the future.

Cozy, comfortable and friendly. Very friendly host and you felt welcomed immediately. The room was beautiful and had everything you would want. Keurig coffee/tea maker with a large variety of coffee and tea along with a Microwave, TV, mini-refrigerator and bottled water. The breakfast served was delicious with everything you could want - yogurt w/fruit and granola, eggs, sausage and muffin and great coffee. I would recommend you stay here and if I return I definitely will. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

A Life Saving Port in the Storm! We recently were invited to a wedding in York, PA, and when we tried to book hotel accommodations, we found out that there was a train show in town the same weekend, and there was simply no rooms available. We had never before stayed in a B&B, so we really didn't know what to expect. The website for the Red Lion B&B simply does not do it justice. It is a warm and wonderful place. The proprietor, George, is extremely helpful. The location is off major thoroughfares, easy to come and go. The B&B offers six rooms, and our family members, all guests of the wedding, took five of the six rooms. Each of us was perfectly satisfied. We felt as if we had all come together in the home of a family member. We all just loved it. I cannot say enough about the place. If you are looking for a very reasonably priced room, in an exceptionally clean facility, with lots of nice perks, like a small gift basket in each room and candy, tea, and coffee available 24-7, and a delicious breakfast included, this place is for you. When I saw my own china pattern on the table for breakfast, in the lovely dining area, I knew for sure we had made the right choice. Kudos, George! Keep up the good work.

Small-Town New Year's Eve Beautiful house; friendly hostess (a professional baker who makes a mean quiche and killer ginger scones); comfortable and attractive room. Charming town with free live music and excellent fireworks at midnight. A great little getaway!

Nice surprise We attended a wedding nearby and luckily found this place. George and Dani were both very helpful on mapping our itinerary and making suggestions. Both were outgoing and professional. Breakfast was served on fine china and the food homemade by Dani as she is also a chef and owner of a local lunch eatery. The rom was small but clean and comfortable. Snacks and munchies were in the room and a nice addition. We highly recommend this establishment.
