Great Value! We arrived late to a room that was both cool and clean! The service was great, the breakfast included continental and hot items. We also made use of the pool that offered a break from the heat with clean towels and accommodations. It was a great value for our family of four. Also felt safe and secure both in our room and in our vehicle which I’m afraid we can’t always say in Redding. Highly recommend!

Really bad experience ! So, we stopped here almost a week back and we were very happy when we got there. It seemed pretty new and clean and the breakfast options were great ! We had a 3 day booking here and on Day 2 we discovered that both my daughters had contracted lice which u can imagine was a big bummer ! the rest of the trip was us making sure we were doing everything to get the situation under control ! This made me question how clean the carpet and sheets are at this place. By the time we reached home we were in a full lice infestation spree ... All of us had contracted it and we were making sure that we don't bring it into the home ! We were hoping to have a wonderful trip and this is what we had to deal with. For the experience I could give his place zero stars if there was a category !

Thoroughly renovated, but lots of annoyances This hotel converted in January from a Ramada to a Holiday Inn Express (the Wi-Fi captive portal still says Wyndham). The renovated lobby and room looks great and has been very well-maintained. A number of complaints though: when I checked in, the front desk agent said "You know our elevator is broken, right?" No, of course I didn't know that. The lobby coffee had a ton of grounds in it. They're still using the small plastic bottles for shower liquids. They had four conditioners, but no shampoos in my room; they said they ran out. The doors and windows let in quite a bit of hallway and freeway noise. The parking lot could use a blowing. There was no orange juice or apple juice at breakfast, but otherwise it was very good.

great value Not many great hotel choices in Redding that seem worth the price. This is a totally refurbished hotel right off the highway. Yes, that means you will hear highway noise, however I am noise sensitive and turning on the AC unit fan blunted all the noise, and it was not a problem at all. Plenty of parking. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast with a larger than average spread. Friendly staff. I don't see a reason to spend more money at any other nearby chain hotels.
