Holiday Inn Express Reno Airport by IHG

Mr-GGs-HIE-Reno-NV Good Clean room and bathroom; hvac works, but not continuously; good breakfast; reasonably good WiFi. Not good YOU ARE WARNED! The hotel has an early check out charge! I asked the clerk about the charge since I had not seen this charge at another HIE; the clerk said the policy is different from hotel to hotel; this money grubbing hotel is going to get into your pockets regardless the reason you have to check out early. Outrageous!! No outlets by the work desk; I had to daisy chain two extender multi-socket cords to have electrical sockets at the work desk. The electrical sockets are under the TV, at least 4 feet away from the work desk. The room hvac does not continuously run to circulate air and the room starts to feel uncomfortable. The only way make the unit run at least a few minutes is to turn the temp down to a ridiculously cold temperature or a ridiculously high temperature. Either way, the room is not comfortable. The toilet bowl fills too high. For we men, the "equipment" gets into the crap water! THIS IS DISGUSTING!! Overall This is not the place to stay if you think there is a chance you might have to check out early. Electric outlets are not close to the work desk. For we men, the toilet bowl fills too high. These bad points outweigh any good points.

Great Reno Airport Hotel Isabel at the front desk was amazing! She was helpful and professional and very friendly. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and a welcome start to my work day! I highly recommend this clean and friendly hotel when staying in the Reno area. They have an airport shuttle to and from the airport too! A++++

Way Better Than Expected Easily one of the best Holiday Inns I’ve ever stayed at. New remodel and furniture. Everything was clean and professional. I would definitely stay here again. It actually feels like a higher end hotel with the updated room designs. I was pleasantly surprised.

Great experience - 5 stars for bath essentials We loved our stay here. The property is extremely clean, the staff is warm and personable. Convenient access to the interstate and beautiful views of the mountains. We had a first floor room with King Size bed which was very comfortable. My only complaint about the rooms is there is only one overhead light in the entry. The remaining lights are desk or table - and at times we wished we had more light. The stay comes with a hot breakfast bar which is very good. There is a wide range of options: cereal, cold favorties like yogurt and milk, fresh made waffles and pancakes, and hot options such as scrambled eggs, omelettes, saugage, and bacon. Finally - big plus to me was in the bathroom. I have long, thick hair and the small sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner are never enough. I have grown accustomed to traveling with my own toiletries because of this. This hotel offers full sized bottles of hand/body cream, soap, shampoo and conditioner. And the shower is amazing- great water pressure. In reading other Reno reviews the water pressure seems to be an issue in the larger hotels, No problems here.

biased I always stay at hie but this time I was very impressed with the staff and shuttle service I feel the staff went above and beyond to help me make me feel at home. I would have liked a tub vs shower but I will live without one. Also. the jacuzzi could have been warmer. Im happy when my hie has a pool and jacuzzi.
