Pleasant staff and great stay I checked in after midnight after taking a rideshare from the airport. The young lady working at the front desk was very professional and a real sweetheart. She made check in a breeze, was helpful with information about the surrounding area and what was open for food at such a late hour. Hotel looked to be recently remodeled and was in excellent shape. My room was a great size and the hotel was pretty quiet for the most part. There are a lot of hallways, so you kind of feel like a rat in a maze when trying to locate your room, even when you got excellent directions from the front desk staff at checkin. Walking the hall you could smell some sensi in the air, which made me feel right at home (I know this could sway some people from wanting to stay). All and all I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I needed to. The only thing wrong with the hotel were the photos of the Ohio State Buckeyes in my room, I wanted to trash them but realized I was in their neck of the woods

Decent stay for reasonable price Decent hotel, good price. Parking was too busy, because a couple of vehicles with trailers and an RV were parked sideways and each took several spots. Hallway was a bit dirty, but the room was fine, only the toilet paper holder was damaged. Good breakfast.

Best nights sleep My son said it was the best nights sleep he has ever had at a hotel. Woke up rested and refreshed. Quiet rooms, quick check in. Great staff. Multiple entrances near all of the rooms so never far from vehicle. Standard hotel breakfast. Really enjoyed our stay.

Don't Judge a Hotel By Its Lot I needed to book a cheap, but clean hotel for my teenage son to compete in the Ohio State Far Junior Horse Show. Horses and showing are very expensive hobbies and I have a meager teaching wage from a small, private school. But this was an opportunity for my son that we couldn't pass up. We do not travel very often in part because I am very afraid of getting stuck in a dirty, or worse yet, infested room. But, in order for my son to compete, we had to book a room for 4 days. I booked the room through Wyndhams website and signed up for their rewards program. Because I was booking more than 3 nights, I earned 10 points per dollar plus a first time booking bonus. I ended up with over 17000 points. Most Wyndham hotels can be booked for either 7500 or 15000 points per night. So right from booking, I earned 2 free nights on another stay at any Wyndham hotel. I was very nervous about this stay because of my own anxieties. We pulled into the lot after getting the horse settled in at the fairgrounds. It was about 15 minutes away which was great. The parking lot was small and I could not park my Ram 1500 and my little 2 horse bumper pull trailer across parking spaces, or in double spaces. I was able to park along the side of the lot temporarily. But there wasn't anywhere I felt comfortable leaving it parked without being in the way or getting hit. After we checked in, I took the trailer to the fairgrounds and left it there. I think the hotel was being remodeled at the time. The outside looked a little rundown and old but there was work being done to it. I had a sinking feeling as I pulled into the lot. It looked rough. The lobby was small, but clean. There was a sign saying the pool as closed for renovations. This was disheartening as I was really counting on cooling off in the pool after being out in the heat and sun for 12-14 hours at the fairgrounds. But we were tired and I really didn't want to look for another place that late. We had to be at the fairgrounds at 7 am. We checked in, got keys and went to our room. The hotel looked old and a little shabby, but it was very clean. We had a 2 queen room with a couch, refrigerator, and desk. It was very small. There was just enough room at the end of the beds to walk through the room. The couch wasn't really a couch. It was a very small Chaise lounge. It was ok to sit and put your shoes on but you had to turn your head sideways to get to your shoe or you would have your face stuck in the bed. Everything in the room worked, the beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, and most importantly, THE ROOM WAS CLEAN! We always had plenty of bathroom linens and housekeeping picked up anything dirty we left on the floor, took out the trash and replaced hand soap bars and toilet paper as needed. There was an outside entrance to the building on the back of the hotel that was much closer to our room. We used this entrance. But parking was very tight on this side with a full size truck. But even for having tight parking, we didn't get any door dings or any other damage to the vehicle. The bad: The room was small and somewhat dated. The hotel itself was dated and looked worn down, even shabby in places. The pool was closed. Breakfast was limited to grab and go. There were prepackaged muffins, granola bars, yogurt, etc. Not bad but was hoping for at least the cheap waffle mix and waffle irons for something hot. The good: The staff was courteous and helpful. Housekeeping visited regularly and did a good job. The hotel was very clean. I was impressed with how clean it was even with being an older hotel that was in the process of being remodeled. 100% will book again.
