Acceptable accomodations We planned to stop in Richmond on our way to NC. We have had good luck with Quality Inns so we selected this one on the fly. Not the finest that we have stayed in, it is a little dated but comfortable. The room was clean and the TV worked fine. There was a small fridge and microwave which we did not use. The bed was fine for me but too hard for my wife. The breakfast was fair. I would stay here again. Side note: (dated?) The directions for using the internet were for Windows 98, 2000, ME, and XP. The TV channel guide looked it was made with a mimeograph and then copied many times with a dot matrix printer..

Indoor pool was "closed" for the winter. My family and I like to stay at hotels with pools to break up the monotony of long drives. Unfortunately, the indoor pool at this hotel was closed for the winter. There was no mention of this fact on the hotel website. Breakfast was decent and the young man behind the counter was incredibly helpful. Otherwise, the hotel is very dated and in definite need of repair.

Nothing advertsed is accurate! Very dirty hotel. No pool. No exercise room. No lounge. Breakfast limited or non existent..afraid to touch anything in room without lysol 1st. Room service gone..trash piled up..funk, they have a green write up on their archaic shower heads on 1st floor but safety features like stairwell lights and elevators are broke. Limited stair excrss and not well marked. Ice maker only on floor 2 works. Basically a bed and a dirty shower for your money..the towels were washed so 1 point

Avoid like the plague! Bed bugs--came home covered in bites for the first time in my life. Filthy rooms--stains, odors, hairs in soap, missing bedding. Musty, suffocating hallways. Despite all the feedback, doesn't seem like the hotel cares much about the complaints. On the plus side, the staff is super friendly. I feel terrible that they have to work at such a dump and must have to deal with many unhappy customers.

Pet Friendly Hotel This hotel is so run down, it's sad. On arrival the check in staff were very friendly. They put us in room #204. On arriving on the second floor the hallway stank of cigarette smoke... it's a non-smoking hotel! The furniture in the hallway near the elevators was filthy dirty and all the fabric had worn away around the arms. Thankfully, our room did not smell of cigarettes. The room looked ok upon entering, but it became apparent that all the furniture was a bit broken, covered in stains, and dirty. After getting undressed the carpet seemed damp. I checked around to make sure all windows were locked before getting into bed (a standard procedure for me) As I opened the drapes condensation was pouring down the windows onto the window ledge and down the wall onto the floor, which could be why the carpet was damp. There was very thick black mold all along the window ledge and on the bottom of the drapes. It was quite disgusting. The white towels in the bathroom were tinged grey. They appear to be very old. The vent in the ceiling of our bathroom was hanging out of the ceiling and making very loud noises. Everything in the hotel seemed old, slightly broken, chipped, stained, etc. Needs a major renovation. Having said that we did stay the night because it was late, we were very tired after driving 11 hours that day. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. It was noisy as the hotel is close to the freeway and a railroad line. We did not go into the breakfast room to eat or get coffee so cannot say what it was like. We stopped up the road for breakfast.
