Quality you can depend on! Stayed here first because the price was the most reasonable, second because the last 2-3 hotel stays my family has had since March have been in IHG hotels and their quality, cleanliness and upkeep are consistent. They have been a step above some other noted chains, we were not disappointed.

Hotel staff incapable of closing and securing doors! GM does not care. Do not stay here Absolutely horrendous service. Some people have to pay for breakfast while others don't. Housekeeping can't even make sure the door to your room is closed securely, leaving it wide open for anyone to help themselves to your stuff. The night manager can't secure the pool properly when it needs chemical treatment, and then proceeds to scream at guests because he is incompetent, leaving the pool accessible to guests and as he screamed at us "swimming in acid". And finally the GM of the hotel can't even be bothered to follow up with all these complaints despite escalating with IHG (who HAVE been concerned and helping us). Clearly the hotel is extremely poorly run and a horrific representation of the Holiday Inn brand, which we have stayed at for many years with no issues whatsoever. What a shame. Do not stay here.

Nice renovated rooms but other areas need work Stayed on a drive vacation with my wife. Did not get up in time for breakfast so cannot comment. Rooms have been renovated and are clean. One old elevator that was filthy, and hallways to room sections dingy. Elevator area to room area separated by a door. Our room was the first one right by the door (even though my profile says not near elevator). Heard the door open and slam shut each time someone came into the hallway where the rooms were - terrible location, make sure you don’t not get this room. Our room had water damage on the ceiling, not sure how long it had been there, but needs to be fixed as it gives you a sense of uncleanliness. Room key envelope had a “thanks for being a member” sticker on the inside - not sure if that constitutes a “welcome member” check list.

Bad front desk experience, great dining room experience The woman who manages the restaurant is absolutely amazing. She acts like an owner and genuinely cares about the customers and how they’re doing. Thank you so much! I wish I got your name. The front desk staff is indifferent and unhelpful. I wouldn’t call them rude, though. In the end, I think it’s a question of the training they have received and the span of control they’re given.
